After divorce, it’s easy to let life’s noise steal your peace — replaying conversations, reacting to others, and feeling constantly on edge.
In this episode, I’ll help you see peace differently.
You’ll learn why peace isn’t something you wait for, but something you choose.
When you stop giving away your energy to everything you can’t control, that’s when calm becomes confidence — and peace becomes your power.

After divorce — and after loss — even the simplest things can feel terrifying.
For me, that was walking.
Born in South Africa, I grew up believing it wasn’t safe to walk anywhere alone. That belief followed me all the way to the UK.
I lived just minutes from a beautiful canal and had no idea it was even there — because I never ventured out.
It wasn’t until after losing Darron and the stillness of lockdown that something inside me whispered, “You need to get out.”
That first walk was one of the scariest moments of my life. But when I saw the canal for the first time — the water, the trees, the light — it was as if the world opened up to meet me.
In this episode, I share how walking became a form of meditation and one of the most healing tools of awareness in my journey after divorce.
How movement helped me process grief, reconnect to myself, and find beauty I couldn’t see before.
Because awareness doesn’t only happen in stillness — sometimes, it happens in motion.
✨ Quiet Mirror Moment for this week:
Ask yourself, “Where am I not allowing myself to step forward?”
Then take a walk — not to count steps, but to notice.

Do you ever feel like your mind never stops?
After divorce, grief, or heartbreak, it’s common to live in constant mental noise—worrying, replaying, planning, judging.
In today’s episode, I share how I discovered a gentler way forward through meditation—a tool of awareness that doesn’t demand perfection and gives you permission to pause.
I’ll talk about how I first struggled: restless thoughts, doubts, the fear I was “doing it wrong.” But over time I learned that meditation isn’t about emptying your mind—it’s about learning you don’t have to believe every thought you think.
With consistent practice, I began to notice quieter inner space, respond instead of react, and breathe again in the midst of chaos.
I also share practical ways you can begin today (even if you’ve never meditated before), how to let go of pressure and perfection, and how to weave pauses into your daily life—even when you feel too busy, too overwhelmed, or too broken.
✨ Quiet Mirror Moment for this week: Take five minutes to simply sit, breathe, and notice the thoughts that drift in. You don’t have to push them away—just let them pass (like clouds) while you return to your breath.

Affirmations & The Language You Live By
The words you repeat to yourself quietly are the ones that shape your life loudly.
For years, my self-talk was harsh and unforgiving. I’d say things like, “Stop being so stupid,” or “You’ll never get this right.” And the more I repeated those words, the more they ate away at my confidence and self-belief.
In this episode, I share how affirmations changed everything for me—not by pretending everything was perfect, but by choosing softer, kinder words that slowly reshaped how I saw myself.
I’ll talk about the very first affirmations I used (including the simple one that gave me permission to breathe again), why language matters so much, and how you can begin to use affirmations in a way that feels real, not forced.
✨ Quiet Mirror Moment for this week: Write down one phrase you want to start telling yourself—not what you “should” say, but what feels possible right now.

Journaling isn’t just words on a page—it can be the mirror that shows you what’s really going on inside. In this episode, I share how my journal shifted from being a place to pour out pain into a tool that expanded my awareness and helped me grow.
If you’ve ever thought journaling was just venting—or if you already journal but aren’t sure it’s helping—you’ll hear how to use it differently: as a powerful tool for awareness, clarity, and self-trust.
I’ll walk you through simple ways to start, what to notice when you reread your words, and how journaling can become a gentle guide back to yourself.
✨ Quiet Mirror Moment for this week: Write down one thing you wish you could say out loud but haven’t yet. Then, come back to it later—and notice what it reveals.
