If you were supposed to be a saint, evolve beyond the human existence, you would not be here on earth playing human, playing human means being aware of the impact you have on those around you.

Are you using a spoon to change your oil?

Use the right tools to evolve as a human.

Sharing personally my journey on self sabotage and spirituality.

What is SELF SABOTAGE: Is when you have two conflicting desires, One is conscious, one is unconscious.

YOU know how you want to move your life forward, and yet you are still, for some reason stuck.

Those unconscious parts are those innerchild parts, and outer child parts and your ego.

It is a coping mechanism to invalidate or validate the beliefs you have rooted down in your self.

Self sabotage comes from wanting to reaffirm affiliated experiences from our past, while protecting ourselves from the unknown, the unfamiliar of the future.

Many times we want to create safety by predicting the future by recreating the past, we do this by using self sabotage mechanisms.

Self sabotage is a coping mechanism rooted in fear of being unable to properly give ourselves what we need.

We destroy whats possible because we don't believe in our capabilities or ourselves.

There is a difference between being uncomfortable and unfamiliar. And often we find anything unfamiliar uncomfortable.

You create familiarity over time.

Anything unfamiliar is going to be risky because of what you have known vs unknown.

Sharing my own insecurity in building new healthy relationships and transforming my own belief systems around female relationships and how I used self sabotage mechanisms to protect myself from being hurt.

The thing you are sabotaging, is what you need.

Self sabotage is about being in control.

Self sabotage is also about being authentic vs inauthentic and the fear of being seen.

By allowing yourself to create new affiliations with past experiences, you can change your beliefs.

Having conversations with your inner child to create safety instead of allowing sabotage to take over.

It is ok to reprogram yourself from the past.

“ I mean, they didn’t abuse me… I was just nicely neglected.. all the time… and made me feel guilty for existing”

Do I have to stay in a relationship with the person/parent who hurt me in my childhood?

Am I obligated to care for them in their old age even though they were useless as a parent in my younger years?

How do I know as an adult now, if I had toxic parent(s)?

Why is it so hard to heal from a toxic parent?

These are the questions we tackle as we unravel all the signs, symptoms, examples of what toxic parenting, looks feels and sounds like?

After years of helping so many clients heal through  Innerchild Work/ Childhood Regression along with Parts integrations, it would be neglectful to and a disservice to not consider or look at the person/ behavior which played a role in the harm done during your childhood. I am not saying every parent was or is TOXIC, but it is essential to unpack the type of behavior which affected you, AND often it is the parent, intentionally or unintentionally which caused a lot of the trauma. 

Toxic Parenting refers to parents who CONSISTENTLY behave in ways, that cause guilt, fear, confusion, emotional insecurity, and obligation in their children. Their actions aren’t isolated events, but patterns that continue to shape their child's life.

 Even if the parent wasn’t physically or verbally abusive, there can be emotional and ENERGETIC abuse…

  2. They put their needs above yours, EVEN if they were for good reason, such as work, house chores, etc

  5. They were more concerned about what others thought of them/you than what you needed

Latin Noun Commun’carta which means “to sharing” And “To make comma” Communication is to share a concept and make an idea common and it be understood. We can communicate through a variety of ways, energetic, physically, through language, through touch, through intention. You cannot relay an idea and how impact without communication. It is how we connect and relay. Conscious communication- to be aware of how we are sharing. Generally reactive and not contemplative and consumed in our ego and identity. The ego often sees others options as threats and thus we defend our ideas without even understanding why. Being conscious of who we are and we are not separate. You don’t have to be able to understand something to tell someone something, but to connect through communication there needs to be a level of understanding. Asking yourself why are you sharing what you are sharing. Acceptance vs approval makes things smoother, when you accept yourself and everything that was supposed to happen has happened you are able to be move forward. And creates duality and right and wrong, good vs bad. Ego gets in the way of connection and communication. What does loving others and having a different option look like? Why are we so attached to being right when we communicate? Fear is truly what separates us. What is toxic Femininity straight into what is toxic Femininity and how it shows up in our culture and society.

Discussing the main categories surrounding toxic femininity

  1. Docile: This is the notion that women must be ready to accept control or instruction. They should be “flexible” in their thinking and only live to be of service.
  2. Hyper-femininity: This involves the strict adherence to stereotypical feminine behaviour. This behaviour is reinforced through punishment, such as being at fault for experiencing gender-based violence, being called a "slut," or being seen as “compromised”—for instance, confident women are often told that their attitude is unattractive or an unwomanly trait.
  3. Policing of femininity in others: This involves pressuring others to emulate behaviours that are seen as feminine — for example, commenting negatively over someones choice to not get married or have children.
  4. Sabotaging others by abusing traditionally feminine qualities: This refers to the idea that all other women compete for male attention and recognition. In this instance, an individual may resent or act harmfully to other women as a means to prove themselves. This could be done to receive the attention of a man—perhaps a romantic interest, teacher, boss, client or male peer. Behaviours utilized can consist of: gossip, spreading rumours to discredit someone, and the threat of social exclusion.

As well as dress code, body image, appearance etc.

The feminine and masculine traits are important but when we isolate or over emphasize them we are distorting them. Placing value on them instead of accepting for what they are devalues an individual. 

Moving towards the characteristics we want to exhibit instead.

Here are some divine feminine characters that we could be leaning towards of course while balancing the masculine as well.

Intuitive

Heart-centered

Compassionate

Wise

Accepting

Forgiving

Collaborative

Reflective

Creative

Sensual

Kind

Gentle

In order to heal the feminine and masculine we need to be aware of where these traits show up in our life and examine our beliefs.

We need to go within to rebalance them.

Asking ourselves how these behaviours makes us feel, do they give us the results we want?

And if not we need to change them starting with ourselves. Asking yourself what energy is out of balance and what would it look, feel and sound like if the divine masculine and divine feminine was balanced in our life. How would that affect others and the results we are wanting?

Diving Deep into Toxic masculinity and toxic femininity,

After much avoidance I felt I needed to share my thoughts on the topic.

I am all about exposing themes I see in society and as a collective.

I strongly feel the masculine and feminine energies need to be balanced, healed and restored back to their perfect roles. They are meant to work together, uplift, encourage and build individuals up. They are tools we have been assigned and when these tools become weapons, there needs to be a restoration back to its origins.

You will be surprised how many people do not understand or recognize these behaviours which have become so acceptable in our society yet so destructive. Disconnecting us from ourselves and divine connection with others.

I myself found myself gravitating towards toxic masculinity when I started my business years ago, as I thought stepping into my divine femininity would make me weak, too emotional and demeaning of my intelligence.

We can no longer ignore how the masculine and feminine archetypes show up in our lives.

You need both energies to make up the whole. You need the masculine and feminine to be whole.

But first we need to see how it is not working and how it shows up!

SO What is even toxic masculinity ?

Toxic Behaviour needs to be identified and defined.

Toxic behaviour occurs when people misinterpret, lie, exaggerate, and manipulate people around them to fit their desired outcomes and agendas. This includes, gaslighting, creating drama, controlling others, doing things out of guilt, being needy, being critical and demeaning of others, blaming others, being selfish and envious and jealous.

Toxic Masculinity describes the set of traditional or cultural norms exemplified by masculine behaviour.

When manhood is defined by aggressiveness, social status, sex, violence, toughness, power, money and emotional strength, these constructs can distort the true energy of masculine. And negatively shape the way men behave and how men are treated.

Some traits and behaviours of toxic masculinity-

Narrow Mindedness

Locker room talk

Objectifying sex

Resorting to violence

Force and Dominance

Disconnected to emotions

Always resorting to what is practical

Making decisions logically

Comparing

Striving

Using money as sense of worth or identity

Using power to get money

Always defending manhood

Being defensive

Avoiding and ignore anything emotional

Being Dismissive

Being afraid to speak up

Omitting information

Leaving details out

Overanalyzing

Overthinking

Overworking

Ignoring physical pain

Toxic masculinity is something men and women can partake in. It's the type of energy which presents a type of behaviour.

This episode is all about grief Many people do not understand the emotion of grief… Many people think grief is about death, but it is also about loss in life. Loss of relationships, expectations, loss of self, loss of jobs etc.

We will experience grief no matter what. The key is to know how to recover from loss, sadness and grief.

Grief is one emotion we need to allow to be processed and can take longer to process than other emotions.

PTSD is experiencing trauma and continues to play out and often grief is trapped within you.

Trauma is what happens and grief is what is left. 

Emotions are stored in the body.

Grief if often stored in the kidneys, left shoulder and lungs…

What is grief- Grief is a change in or an end in a familiar pattern or behaviour.

It is loss and change.

We are taught how to acquire things but we are not taught what to do when we loose them..

Grief is the loss of hopes, dreams and expectations.

Grief is anything we wish would be or could have been different better or more and that’s with relationships with people who have died or are living.

Grief requires a process because it comes with a mixed bag of emotions.

A lot of issues are a result of unprocessed grief.

Unfortunately we don’t know much about grief and there are many myths that come with grief.

Hypnotherapy is a way to do deep psychological change work we can make. Bringing the things which we are not aware to the surface so you can make changes, make different decisions.

It is called Regression work because we are looking at background past programs.

Into the past.

Childhood Regression is going into your childhood to release the unresolved patterns, beliefs and programs that are playing out, whether they are positive and negative.

Womb Regression- As long as 6 weeks old, you are susceptible to thoughts and feelings in your environment.

We all have internal representations about your reality and experiences which shape our expectations of life.

NLP looks at these perspectives and helps you have a broader view of what yours are and what others may be.

NLP helps you see a program outside of your problem.

NLP is about bypassing the conscious mind and the stories you have convinced yourself to believe.

NLP uses language, eye movements, visualization and goal setting to help you gain a new perspective and have a new experience.

Sacrificing self is not a sign of love, and being angry at someone for not sacrificing themselves for you is a sign of co dependency

Your self worth should not be dependent on making someone happy.

You can’t be authentic in a relationship unless you are aware and love yourself.

Self boundaries come first

You cannot make anyone love you.

Constantly needing attention is insecure attachment and codependency.

Self regulation is the key.

No relationship is perfect… no person is perfect….

Relationships are about working together to heal, to share our lives with someone. You get to make mistakes in a relationship.

Co-regulation is learning about yourself and growing with others.

Relationships teach you about you… how to relate to self and relate to others.

Self regulation is being aware

Stop giving your power away.

It is easy to give away our power.

Self awareness, Self Trust and Self love is what needs to happen in a relationship for it to be healthy.

Healthy communication, consistency over time, respect and trust are the legs to hold up a relationship.

Being right doesn’t solve problems in relationships.

Unaddressed red flags will lead to grand canyon cracks.

Getting to the "golden age" means getting through the "sweatpants phase".

The secret to successful relationships is getting good at damage control.

You are responsible for your own emotional responses. yOu are not responsible to taking away other peoples struggles.

We came here to learn and evolve and experience connection and disconnection.

Narcissist are unable to take ownership of their own mistakes. They are either the Victim or the Victor, never the Villain.

Gaslighting a power tactic to project blame, it's causing doubt in the other person by manipulating the blame of the conflict.
