When we use technology our dopamine and cortisol levels rise, When we interact through physical touch and close proximity we experience serotonin and oxytocin.
Communication is severely lost through technology since 67 percent of communication is through facial expression and body language.
Technology is not a replacement for human interaction. 
Humans perceive anything written via email or text is perceived 2 x’s as negative opposed to what would be perceived in person. 
Convenience is overriding connection. 
47 percent of 20 year olds and younger say they have social anxiety and the main reason is because they are not learning how to interact with humans face to face. 
The architects behind social media know you better than your mother or lover! Your time online is more valuable than the dollar!
