Sacrificing self is not a sign of love, and being angry at someone for not sacrificing themselves for you is a sign of co dependency
Your self worth should not be dependent on making someone happy.
You can’t be authentic in a relationship unless you are aware and love yourself.
Self boundaries come first
You cannot make anyone love you.
Constantly needing attention is insecure attachment and codependency.
Self regulation is the key.
No relationship is perfect… no person is perfect….
Relationships are about working together to heal, to share our lives with someone. You get to make mistakes in a relationship.
Co-regulation is learning about yourself and growing with others.
Relationships teach you about you… how to relate to self and relate to others.
Self regulation is being aware
Stop giving your power away.
It is easy to give away our power.
Self awareness, Self Trust and Self love is what needs to happen in a relationship for it to be healthy.
Healthy communication, consistency over time, respect and trust are the legs to hold up a relationship.
Being right doesn’t solve problems in relationships.
Unaddressed red flags will lead to grand canyon cracks.
Getting to the "golden age" means getting through the "sweatpants phase".
The secret to successful relationships is getting good at damage control.
