If we observe cancer in its dynamics of inflammation, isolation, and rewiring, we’ll see that the body might actually be trying last resource mechanisms to protect itself, until the disease if fully installed. Similarly, the mind protects itself against unbearable thoughts and emotions, using repression, dissociation, and other last resource mechanisms, until mental disease is fully installed. In a body overwhelmed with toxins and invaders, we can’t expect the mind to work on its full potential. Likewise, an overwhelmed mind won’t allow the body to work on its full potencial.
