#Bakstory S4 : SCPQ with Inad Rendon

Today is my birthday, so I'm releasing the first episode of #BAKSTORY on our Season 4!

#Bakstory ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL : The Qu's

I suddenly realized I need to accomplish something I've always wanted to do halfway through 2020. Podcasting came to mind; it's something I've wanted to do for a long time. Then one day, inspiration struck, and I sought opinions on a possible term, and #AnythingBAKS was created. With the goal of sharing tales and creating a forum for discussion on a certain subject.

I intend to make this one LGBT-centric and truly unravel stories of people - LGBTQIA and kindreds, as well as allies for inclusiveness. I started with one episode and worked my way up through seasons, and I'm already on the Anniversary episode! Yes, I still can't believe I've made it this far! It was a learning experience for me, and I'm grateful that my visitors were able to express feelings they didn't think they could— just #Bakstory!

Our 50th episode celebrates the 1st anniversary of Bakstory. And just as timely as October is Mental Health Awareness Month— a global campaign to promote mental health awareness. Listen to our conversation with April Q ( @msapriljaneq ) and Yani Q ( @yaniyow ). Happy Anniversary AnythingBAKS #Bakstory!

Self-acceptance enables you to acknowledge and admit your own abilities and flaws. Accepting oneself encourages you to practice self-care and have a more positive outlook on yourself. As a result, you will be able to develop and improve as a person and in your life.

In this second episode of BAKSTORY, I interview Inad about his journey to self-acceptance, perseverance, and service. Inad Rendon ( @inad_rie , inadqr.com ) Always think of himself as a regular guy with a wide range of interests. Just like everyone else, he's a son, a brother, a friend, a mentor, and a student. He's come to make a difference. He isn't the best person to define himself, to be honest. Let us ask his pals if we want to learn more about him as a person.

BONUS for BAKS!

Before we get to the finale of Season 2 for #AnythingBAKS , please take time to listen and practice this short meditation exercise. This is an excerpt from my recent read " A Monk's guide to Happiness by Gelong Thubten ". We all look to the outside world for satisfaction, believing that worldly items would bring us happiness. A Monk's Guide to Happiness explains why, in order to find tranquility, we must look within and connect to our inner self.

Take your time to be with yourself. We are hard wired to be happy. Stay safe!
