Welcome back to The Real Talk Podcast. In today’s episode I express some of the hardships that come with that on-again, off-again relationship you’ve been balancing for a while. I talk about some of the areas in which I’ve come up short in my approach to expression and being honest about my feelings because of a certain fear that comes with that. Going on to talk about how our “logic” can be misled by our feelings, leaving us confused with what path is right for us. Everyone has an opinion on love, we speak to what we know and what we’ve experienced and these are some of the thoughts that have crossed my mind in situations similar to this. No hard decision ever truly feels like the right one, we just do our best to proceed with life and occupy what is potentially no longer there. Listen until the end of the episode to hear my advice on living our genuine truth and how beneficial that can be to a healthy future. Thank you for listening and continuing to encourage me to be open and honest about Mental Health and all that comes with it in our everyday lives. Welcome back to The Real Talk Podcast. In today’s episode I reflect on a choice I didn’t make, but one I am forced to deal with the aftermath of. I’ve never had an issue dismissing someone from my life when I feel I’ve been done wrong but today I try my best to take a step in the right direction. The most heated and emotion driven moments we experience are truly the ones that define our character most and I’m due up for some development. Listen in as I deliver a message to someone very close to me that I think can resonate to a number of situations you have maybe dealt with in the past or could be dealing with right now. Thank you for listening and continuing to encourage me to be open and honest about Mental Health and all that comes with it in our everyday lives. Welcome back to The Real Talk Podcast. In today’s episode we talk about regret and all that it brings into our lives. It’s no secret we all wish at certain points in our lives we handled things differently than we did but that won’t change anything now. In this episode we dive into the emptiness that comes with regret and the ways it affects more than just a thought in your mind. I go on to share a few regrets I have and am trying to step away from along with a personal story about how regret has consumed my mind for far too long. Welcome back to The Real Talk Podcast. In today’s episode I have a short but important one for you, love. I respond to an anonymous submission that asked me if I loved myself among a few other things and I answered honestly as always. It’s not easy to love yourself and really mean it, where do we even begin? I spent much of my life focused on not feeling, understanding it will take some time to turn them back on. The topic today is an important one for anyone who struggles with finding the good within yourself because you parent yourself a little too hard. It’s okay to show ourselves recognition and appreciation, so let me go first. Thank you for listening and continuing to encourage me to be open and honest about Mental Health and all that comes with it in our everyday lives. Welcome back to The Real Talk Podcast. In today’s episode I talk about saying goodbye. Never an easy thing to do whichever side of things you sit on. Goodbyes are hard because you’re either being hurt or hurting yourself by doing it and there’s no real way to win. I go on to discuss my experience with shutting off my feelings to try and avoid a hurt like this and how that left me afterwards. The battle back hasn’t been easy and I feel it’s still only beginning. Stick around until the end of the episode to hear how I balance my thoughts and the way I want to live out my days. Thank you for listening and continuing to encourage me to be open and honest about Mental Health and all that comes with it in our everyday lives. Welcome back to The Real Talk Podcast. In today’s episode I talk about how much easier it is for us to help other people deal with their problems than it is for us to deal with our own. My entire life I’ve been the first to volunteer my time and efforts to anyone but me. How do we find a healthy balance with this, and where do we begin? I go on to share basically my entire outlining process in how I approach these episodes and the goal behind it because of how well it ties to today’s subject. Stick around until the end of the episode to hear my thoughts on “failure” and how our subject today impacts the trajectory of my future if I continue life this way. Thank you for listening and continuing to encourage me to be open and honest about Mental Health and all that comes with it in our everyday lives. Welcome back to The Real Talk Podcast. In today’s episode we discuss how quick I tend to abandon myself in the challenging moments I face in life. Deflection is the quickest way to survive a conversation you aren’t comfortable in, but how you’re left feeling afterwards only you are forced to live with. I’m aiming to build confidence in myself and with what I do here and that is something that doesn’t come easy for me or anyone who struggles with Mental Health. We all want to feel good about who we are and what we bring to the table. Even if we aren’t where we’d like to be, it’s important to feel secure enough with the efforts you’re making to stand your own ground in moments you don’t feel you’ll make it out of. I offer some advice on how I manage to get through these tough days and what I’d like to continue doing as I move forward with each opportunity I’m given. Thank you for listening and continuing to encourage me to be open and honest about Mental Health and all that comes with it in our everyday lives. Welcome back to The Real Talk Podcast. In today’s episode I talk about relationships and what to do if you feel stuck in a hopeful but endless cycle. I was thrown into a conversation recently where a friend of mine talked about their relationship and this episode is sort of my reaction to what I was told. I talk about everything from what we feel is our “strongest connections” to my own definition of love, right now. Stick around until the end of the episode to hear what I feel is the most effective solution to doubt or worry within a relationship and how taking this difficult route will help the both of you find peace sooner rather than later. As you listen just know I’m not attempting to influence or create the second guessing we discuss, this is just my reaction to a conversation I had in my real life. Thank you for listening and continuing to encourage me to be open and honest about Mental Health and all that comes with it in our everyday lives. In this episode I begin by sharing what I once felt was an “only me” feeling when it came to days like today and the feelings they brought me. Welcome back to The Real Talk Podcast. In today’s episode I talk about cutting off loose ends. Some people in our lives are only meant to be around for a period of time, others for much longer. Feelings and emotion often stand in the way of our better judgement and like always there are consequences to those actions. In this episode I talk about my opinion on rekindling an old flame that maybe didn’t end the best when it did. I go on to offer a very fresh and very recent example of one of my closest friends going through this exact situation. Ending with my advice to you on this very temptation and what to consider before making a life-changing decision. Thank you for listening and continuing to encourage me to be open and honest about Mental Health and all that comes with it in our everyday lives. Welcome back to The Real Talk Podcast. In today’s episode I respond to another anonymous submission sent in via the anonymous suggestion box set up for the podcast. Today’s submission asks about goal setting and my approach to it. Not only that but how I manage my limits and follow through with the goals I set. How do I stay consistent? I go into detail being up-front and honest about how imperfect the process is and how you just need to find what works for you. No two people approach challenges the same way, we just do the best we can and proceed forward. Later sharing some thoughts on my current goals and why I only really care to succeed for one reason. Be sure to stick around until the end of the episode to hear that reason. Thank you for listening and continuing to encourage me to be open and honest about Mental Health and all that comes with it in our everyday lives.
