Welcome back to The Real Talk Podcast. In today’s episode we discuss how quick I tend to abandon myself in the challenging moments I face in life. Deflection is the quickest way to survive a conversation you aren’t comfortable in, but how you’re left feeling afterwards only you are forced to live with. I’m aiming to build confidence in myself and with what I do here and that is something that doesn’t come easy for me or anyone who struggles with Mental Health. We all want to feel good about who we are and what we bring to the table. Even if we aren’t where we’d like to be, it’s important to feel secure enough with the efforts you’re making to stand your own ground in moments you don’t feel you’ll make it out of. I offer some advice on how I manage to get through these tough days and what I’d like to continue doing as I move forward with each opportunity I’m given. Thank you for listening and continuing to encourage me to be open and honest about Mental Health and all that comes with it in our everyday lives.
