Can you name the five components of physical fitness? How about the additional six life-skill components of physical fitness that we must train to sustain a high quality of life?
Today’s podcast is a conversation about what it looks like to attain, to train and to sustain those wellness habits that with the grace of God, a mountain of self-awareness, accountabilty and a continued willingness to try, WE CAN do better and be better LIVE WELL WARRIORS. My favorite question on the QUEST TO LIVE WELL IS: What are you willing to do TODAY AND EVERYDAY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE so that when you're dead and gone, folks will say "SHE/HE LIVED WELL?"
Walking is one of the best and easiest cardio exercises we can do and it's an exercise that comes loaded with health and fitness benefits. Challenging our muscles with a regular walk every day will contribute to our leg strength. Studies show that leg strength is directly related to longevity! It's also reflective of how active folks are. More active people are less likely to become obese and develop serious chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, not to mention have better balance and more confidence and independence. Keep listening and explore how you can tailor a SMART GOAL that will not only help you LIVE WELL, BUT LONGER!
No one chooses to be gay. No mother dreams about giving birth to a gay child, but we do and I did and when it came time for her to declare her same sex attraction, what did I do? Give this episode a listen. Grab a tissue and share it if you dare. All children should have a safe place to follow their faith. In the words of my pastor, Andy Stanley, "Ours should be the last generation of parents and families in the local church who go through this experience feeling isolated and without hope." Let's be life-givers and circle makers!
Last week you received the BGP Tool for bypassing the trap of comparison. This week, Coach Tina goes deeper into the negative effects social media is having on our mental health, self-esteem, subjective wellbeing and even body image.
How much time do spend on social media each day? Who are you following and who follows you? Do you ever self-check your emotional responses to social media and how much of the response is positive versus negative? What's your positive to negative emotional quotient? And, finally, do you know about Will power, Won't power and Want power?
Resilience grows when we recognize the emotions that trigger us and learn to express them in a constructive manner. Our range of emotions—and how we manage them—influences our emotional health. To respond is to exercise emotional intelligence. To react is to be emotional.
This conversation is about comparing ourselves with others. It's a quest to understand the emotions that trigger response and reaction mechanisms. In this podcast, Coach Tina gives us a tool to combat the negative effects of the comparison trap. It's a slippery subject, so put your good walking shoes on for this one!

If we want to capture our purpose and rediscover our joy, we'll need to get honest with ourselves and acknowledge how we're spending our minutes, hours, and days. We'll never get more than 24 hours a day and we'll never get today back! Taking a good look at where we spend our time is crucial to understanding what is distracting us from our purpose. Furthermore, understanding decisions determine habits, habits develop character and character becomes destiny, is an outline for how to LIVE WELL. Are you writing the story you want your life to tell by prioritizing what matters most to you? What are your top 5 priorities? Are you LIVING them? What's consuming your time and attention? What is it costing you or those you love to not be living your priorities? Worthy dive y'all! Stop down and give this one a listen and then pass it on. The world needs who you were born to become!

Who suffers when we fail to show up? Who deserves an apology? What can we do avoid being a road block versus the asset in any situation? How and when do we squash pride and focus on practicing the process of improvement? Finally, where and WHY is redemption an absolute necessity to Living Life Well?
In this episode, Coach Tina explores ego, habits and practical steps to walking in wellness and living in grace. From ego to "I-Go..." is a positive way forward and through shame and disappointment.
"We will always go farther together than when walking alone; and when we give grace to ourselves and others, we SHOW THE WORLD WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE TO LIVE WELL." Be Well. Love Well. Live Well! Chow
Anyone past the age of 30 knows that sleep is imperative to optimal performance. How we show up every day and the amount of energy output we have access to is a direct correlation to our sleep habits.
Coach Tina invites, incites and encourages us to examine what our daily "launch pad" habits are and what we might be willing to pivot and/or change to optimize and maximize our days. We'll never get more than 24 hours and we'll never get this day back; so, exploring with curiosity how we spend the first 15-30 minutes of our day might just be the secret to changing everything and creating the story we want our lives to tell! Let's go for a walk! Grab your shoes and your courage. Let's have a deeper conversation about what it looks like, feels like and sounds like to explore WAKING UP, GETTIN UP and LIVING WELL!
Ask someone what their purpose is and chances are you'll get a deer in the headlights expression. Knowing our purpose, much less knowing how to find our why can be a challenge. Where do we start? How do we know? What do we do with it once we've found it?
Lace up your walking shoes and then hit play. Be inspired to get up, get outside and walk & talk it out with Health Coach, Life Maker and Fitness Professional, Tina Williamson. It's a podcast, true, but it's also an invitation to explore with curiosity why we're till here. It's an active choice to navigate, investigate and hopefully discover what, how and why the world needs you living your purpose!
