John 14:27 — Jesus gives peace not as the world gives—let not your heart be troubled. How to use these: Read one in the morning and one at night. Write a phrase on a sticky note (“Fear not, I am with you”). Set a reminder that says “Pray first.” Five Simple Ways to Walk in Peace This Week Pray first, then act. Before you react to a headline, whisper a prayer. Ask, “Holy Spirit, what’s the next right step?” Stand together. Check on someone—send the text, make the call. Fear shrinks when we share burdens. Choose truth over noise. Limit doom-scrolling; feed your mind with Scripture, worship, and wise counsel. Do the next right thing. Small faithful steps—kindness, integrity, generosity—create holy momentum. Guard your gates. Notice what enters your eyes, ears, and heart. Curate what fuels fear; pursue what nourishes faith. When Politics Stir Panic: A Calm Heart in a Chaotic World Public life matters, but it’s not ultimate. We can vote, serve, volunteer, and advocate without surrendering peace. Our confidence doesn’t come from perfect leaders; it comes from a perfect God.Hold this tension well: be responsibly engaged and spiritually anchored. “Seek the peace of the city” while remembering your ultimate hope is in Christ.
