For me, Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD) has been the most challenging and debilitating part of managing my ADHD. This is when you experience an intense physiological reaction and emotional spiral after receiving perceived rejection or criticism. In this episode, I talk about some of the ways this has manifested in my career and prevented me from making consistent progress in my business (in the past). I also share my top 3 tips for managing RSD, so you can stop letting your emotions run the show and get back in the driver's seat of your own career.

Today, we are talking all about leading and lagging metrics. These are data points used by organisations to predict and measure business performance. But, they can also be applied to self-development, as a way to measure your progress towards your goals. Chances are, you're putting way too much stock in your lagging metrics, and not enough energy into changing your leading metrics. Here's how to stop looking in the rear-view mirror and stay focused on the road ahead.

Studying — and actually succeeding — with ADHD is no easy feat. That's something I learned the hard way, when I did my entire first university degree (Journalism) and 3/4 of my second one (Psychology) unmedicated! However, the upside of that was: I was forced to find productivity and study aid tools that helped me push through the procrastination and distraction, and get stuff done. In this podcast, I share my top 5 tools for studying with ADHD (note: many of these tools, I use for getting work done in general — so definitely still check it out even if you're not studying!) I also share some of my personal journey of studying, including what it's like to do a Graduate Diploma of Psychology as a mature-aged student. Note: None of these tools are sponsored, these are just things that have genuinely helped me and I wanted to share! I hope you enjoy these study hacks for people with ADHD.
The 5 tools I mention are:

Welcome to the new series of the podcast, now called The Progress Podcast!
So, I was recently diagnosed with inattentive ADHD at the age of 29… And while it’s true that people with ADHD struggle executive function, organisation, and planning, I personally believe I’m productive because of my ADHD, not in spite of it. So, in today’s episode, I wanted to clear up some of the biggest misconceptions I see around about ADHD, and some of the biggest lessons ADHD has taught me about productivity along the way.
PS. This episode was originally a video, so please ignore any references to 'the video.'

For the launch of the new season of the A Girl In Progress podcast (yay!!) I wanted to share a little about my personal journey. Here, I share my journey from procrastinating university student to magazine journalist, to burnt out freelance writer to blogger, self-help author and coach. I also touch on some of the struggles I experienced along the way, including undiagnosed ADHD, perfectionism and people pleasing — and how I have been able to turn them into my superpower with my imperfect action method. I hope you enjoy it and are able to take some of the lessons I've learned along the way and apply them to your own life.

Kicking us off with this bite-sized episode, we're covering an area where many people struggle with perfectionism, procrastination, and overwhelm — and that's creativity.
As a writer by trade, this is a topic that's very close to my heart! I believe that you don't have to identify as a 'creative' to use your voice. Whether you're a business owner, employee, parent or student, your words are one of the most powerful tools you have, as it can open you up for new opportunities. That said, so many of us can get so stuck in wanting to make every word seem 'perfect.'
But in this episode, I'm sharing three of my top strategies for overcoming creative perfectionism, breaking through writer’s block and getting that content out into the world. Those words will be flowing effortlessly onto the page before you know it!
