One Year Sober, and You've Got the Blues?
One Year Sober, and You've Got the Blues?    Why?    Reality really kicks in......we don't get a certificate or it doesn't mean you're on to the next challenge. It means you get to get one more day under your belt.    So, instead of being down, melancholy or sad, celebrate how special you are and how your journey is a lifetime of adventures, fun, challenges, opportunity, learning, and growing continuously.   You are a student for life, and you are shedding the old layers that do not serve you, and you are starting to shine your light and show who you truly are.   There are always two ways to look at things, positively or negatively.  Opportunity or Challenging.     One thing I will share is to do it all for YOU, and not for anyone else because YOU ARE WORTHY! When I didn't get sober fully for myself, I relapsed :(  2X    Sign up for a newsletter made for you: https://karyncain.com/

Push Through Your Fears

Push Through Your Fears Stop Allowing Fear To Run Your Life How do we allow ourselves to let our gut (intuition) be our guide? By using our faith in the unknown, we are choosing our worth and God to take the lead.  We get to choose to listen to our own intuition or not. We can choose who we reach out to for support and choose not to listen to the non-believers.   Live your best life sober and watch the magic unfold in your life.    https://karyncain.com/ https://sovereignsobriety.store/ https://linktr.ee/karyncain #mindset #lifecoach #fearless #sobriety #sober #recovery #addiction

Let Go of the Attachment & Watch What Happens

Let Go of the Attachment & Watch What Happens

Surprise face inserted here, lol

Sever the bond/attachment & boom, it opens up the flood gates to new opportunities

Attachments to anything, relationships, events, jobs, circumstances, etc...

Let go of a particular outcome, because like my shirt says, Trust the Universe, because God has a much bigger plan for us, and we must let go and allow that to happen.

As far as relationships go, here's what I've got.....

"Bruh, you left me and that's okay, thank you actually."

God saves us from people, places, and things that do not serve us. We just have to go with the flow and let that shit go.

The Weekend Drinking Bender Never Ends Well

The Weekend Drinking Bender Never Ends Well

If your life is like mine was, you don’t have to live that way anymore. Take charge of your life, and stop being chained to a bottle of alcohol.   There are many ways to get sober and stay sober, and it starts with not picking up a drink.   Get help, seek out a therapist, an AA meeting, start meditating, exercising, and start plugging into people who are in recovery.  Change your patterns. Change your thinking. Create affirmations. Pray to whatever works for you. GOD, a group of drunks if that’s all you’ve got right now, pray to that.  Every step you take that takes action to change is a step in the right direction.   I did 90 meetings in 90 days, therapy, exercise, and nutrition. I added prayer and then I did a 90 days transformation program and became a certified coach and this create a brand new lifestyle for me. I started to love myself more and more. I learned how to let go, let God, and continue to advance my education, skills, and relationships but mostly my relationship with myself.   Sign up for newsletters at karyncain.com or support@sovereignsobriety.store  My Live your best life sober 21-day challenge starts May 1st. Alcohol and Controlled Drinking

Alcohol and Controlled Drinking

One sip of alcohol after a long period of not drinking could take you down the rabbit hole until you can't go down any further.  One sip turned into years of progressive alcoholism for me on two separate occasions.

Self-discipline is key You can't trust what a normal drinker says because they have no idea what it's like to be an alcoholic and to have that obsession to drink and keep drinking.  You can tell yourself I can control my drinking, but how long does that actually last if you are unhealed within.  It's so easy to get the F it's when you haven't done the internal work to heal the fake stories going on inside of your head.

Prayer To Your Exes

Prayer For Your Exes

This is an Affirmative Prayer or also known as a Spiritual Mind Treatment.

The actual prayer starts at 8 minutes 30 seconds, if you would like to skip straight to the prayer portion of the video.

I recommend you sit comfortably in a quiet space with your eyes closed and connect fully in the moment with the prayer.

Remember: You are love, you are light, and everything is happening for our greatest and highest good at all times.

We are all spiritual beings in these bodies just doing the best we can with what we've got. Forgive easily and have compassion and let go with love.

Ultimately, we all just want to be loved, so let's be that love ourselves first and foremost. We attract the love vibration in which we are. Law of Attraction. You attract what you are, so be LOVE. This love I speak of is Self-Love. Work on having that self-love within yourself first.

There is no blame only growth and learning taking place in every situation even when it hurts or seems wrong or unfair.

Be patient and have faith and trust God. God's got you, sweet soul.

Why I Self Medicated with Alcohol

Why I Self Medicated with Alcohol

1. Stress

2. Anxiety

3. Depression

4. Anger

While in active addiction,  I was never in a good place mentally.  I always had to have a drink to get by and do most anything. It got really bad. The addiction was so strong. I tried to quit multiple times.

What was the void I was missing? ME! I was missing self-worth and self-love.

Stop Giving Your Energy to the Energy Vampires

Stop Giving Your Energy to the Energy Vampires

I just heard Gary Vaynerchuck talking about why we give more energy to the people who are shitting on us instead of the people who are cheering us on.

Why would we give ourselves to the darkness over the light?

Why would we care if one person thinks we suck out of all the others that don't?

Why would we give our energy to someone who is trying to F us up? They are projecting their BS onto us

Is Getting Sober Hard to Do?

Is Getting Sober Hard to Do?

This is all coming from my own perspective and journey.

If you quit drinking for the right reason, for YOU, then it’s not as hard as you think.  If you are ready to surrender the life you once knew and got comfortable with, then it’s easier then you think.

Honestly, have you ever done something that you were really proud of that filled your soul without doing some hard work to get there?  Oh maybe 🤔 not because if you are like I used to be, I had no passions or ambitions to fill my soul. I was a full-time drunk.

It’s all in perception. Do you want it to be easier not harder? Than set your mind into believing you’re already sober, you have already got 30 days, 90 days, one year in your pocket of sobriety.

Believe it and you can achieve it.

Let’s go! You don’t get drink, if you don’t pick up a drink.

90 meetings in 90 days worked for me, but I was also doing a bunch of things to get to where I am today.

Why I Love Cold Water

Why I Love Cold Water, but I Hate the Cold

1. Get out of my head

2. Feel alive

3. More relaxed and calm

4. Sleep better

5. In the moment more than ever

👆🏻Those are my main reasons.

Cold exposure speeds up metabolism, reduces inflammation, swelling, and sore muscles. It’s linked to improved sleep, more focus and an improved immune response.   Reset, reboot and feel alive again!!!!

Why Stop Drinking?
Why Stop Drinking? Im my opinion, I was killing myself, I was emotionally unavailable, I took zero responsibility for my own actions, I didn’t remember anything that happened, I was a drunk mom, I was dangerous to myself and others, and I was embarrassing to be around.
