On Thursday 11th May 2006, Luke Durbin had a night out planned with two of his closest friends but by Saturday 13th May he was reported as missing.
As police started to investigate Luke's disappearance, it became apparent that he was dealing in drugs and potentially was part of what is now known as County Lines. In 2010, Luke's case was upgraded from a missing person to a murder inquiry, but as of today, Luke has never been found.
Luke's involvement with drugs was kept quiet in the press until a documentary on Channel 5 - Missing or Murdered - when it delved into the full story but the focus remains on what happened to Luke.
Despite it being nearly 20 years since Luke was last seen, his case remains open and people still come forward with information.
If you have any information in regards to Luke's disappearance, you can find the details on how to report these on the link below - this link also shows the CCTV clips of people within the vicinity of Luke's last known presence that police would like to talk too:

Episode 15 covers the cases of Playboy Bunny Girl Eve Stratford, school leaver Lynne Weedon, Elizabeth Parravincina and Patsy Morris.
In March 1975, Playboy bunny and model Eve Stratford was found dead in her apartment in Leyton, London by her lead singer boyfriend. From the scene, DNA was collected but with it being the 70's advancements in testing weren't known yet however it was kept on file.
Six month after Eve's murder, Lynne Weedon was found barely alive having been hit over the head. DNA was also found at the scene and kept on file.
Two years later, Elizabeth was found dead just 1.5 miles away from Lynne and 5 years later, Patsy was also found within 2 miles of Lynne's murder - although DNA was not obtained from Elizabeth and Patsy - due to the location and the style of murders - police linked the three together.
In 2004, Lynne's murder was re-opened and the DNA was put through the database - it matched to another crime scene - Eve Stratford's!
With police now believing all four murders are linked - but could there have been a fifth with Lynda Farrow's murder which also remains unsolved?
Get ready - as this episode is hard hitting - extra care must be taken when listening.

On this weeks episode, we look into the most likely theories as to what has happened to Maura Murray.
Did she runaway and leave her life behind? Was she abducted and murdered? Why are New Hampshire Police keeping such a tight lip on any developments with regards to her case?
Some of these questions we try to answer this week and some remain a mystery in themselves.

Maura Murray was a 21 year old nursing student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst when she packed a bag, brought some alcohol and headed to New Hampshire on 9th February 2004.
Just after 7pm that evening Maura crashed her car into a snow bank, where damage to the car caused it to be inoperable. Local neighbours form as witnesses, with one neighbour stopping to speak to Maura and offering to call the police. The police arrived to the scene around 20 minutes after the first call, but Maura has disappeared. The car is empty, the doors are locked and she is no where to be seen.
Her family are made aware of her disappearance, and as her boyfriend is flying to Haverhill, he receives a voicemail of a girl crying who he believes is Maura, however, the call was traced to the American Red Cross.
In this episode, we cover Maura's disappearance and the initial investigations that took place.

This weeks episodes dives in to on of Police Scotland's longest running unsolved murders.
Alistair Wilson was a devoted husband and father to his two boys, the family lived in the quaint and quiet town of Nairn in the Scottish Highlands. After what had been your normal family Sunday on the 28th November 2004, a knock on the door of 10 Crescent Road turned it into a Sunday of nightmares.
The unknown visitor asked for Alistair, handed him a blue envelope and shot him dead.
The envelope was taken by the killer when he left, and Alistair's wife Veronica found her husband barely alive on their doorstep.
With this case remaining cold after 21 years, there are still plenty of answers that needs questions - for example, who is Paul? What was the blue envelope for? Does this case have ties to the IRA? How does BBC Scotland's radio show play a part?
The cold case is currently going under a re-investigation by a team of 37, hopefully they will find the answers Alistair's family so desperately want and need.

In the UK, someone is reported missing every 90 second.
For most, they are found relatively quickly however for others, they aren't - and this leaves families feeling lost, confused and searching for answers. Some missing peoples cases tend to get a huge amount of press coverage and money spent on them in efforts to find them, but what about the people missing who we don't hear about as much?
In this episode, I cover two missing people cases that aren't as well known as others.
Catrin Maguire was last seen in November 2021, despite having been through some difficulty in the months prior to her disappearance, she seemed well within herself, was in her last year of university and was excited about her gap year of travel. Catrin's parents strongly believe she is still alive and are desperate for her to come home.
Alan Rae was just 18 when he was last seen in March 1989 having completed his territorial army training, over the years, some information has come to light which has led his family to beg Police Scotland to open a murder inquiry, but they are yet to do so.
If you have any information on either of the cases covered in this episode, you can call:

This case comes from Mississippi and specifically, Tupelo - interestingly, the birth place of Elvis Presley.
Leigh was just 13 when her mum, Vickie, left her at home to go to work one day, with a tropical storm on the horizon, her mum called Leigh to check she was ok. She didn't answer the phone, so Vickie left work to check on her daughter. When she returned home, Leigh was gone and the house was covered with blood.
With multiple suspects but very little evidence, Leigh's case remains unsolved over 33 years later - with police and her father believing she has been murdered, and her mother praying she was missing.
This case takes some twists and turns on the way - with multiple polygraphs offered and taken, some passes and some fails and two main theories both leading no where, a body found that was confirmed as Leigh's then retracted.
This episode does discuss child abuse, extra precaution should be taken when listening.

Paula Hounslea had spent the evening of the 21st August 2009 enjoying a Chinese meal with her family for her mums birthday.
The next day, she told her 18 year old daughter she was going to her best friends house, later that day, her daughter received a text from Paula to say she was staying at Vicky's house for a few days. However, Vicky also received a text from Paula.
It was soon established that Paula had not been to Vicky's on that day and she was reported as missing. Due to having Bipolar disorder, she was graded as high risk and police began their searches which spread as far as Spain.
Despite efforts by the police and her family, Paula was never found.
In May 2012, the skeletal body of a woman was found in a fire pit by a disused train line - it was confirmed to be the body of Paula. Items found by her body did lead to two people close to Paula being arrested, however, as of today no one has been charged with her murder.

To this day, it is unknown why Andrew decided to go to London on this day instead of school. He was academically gifted, an award winning mathematician hoping to attend Cambridge University in his future.
Over the years, sightings of Andrew have been reported however these have not always been followed up by police or the follow up was delayed. In 2018, the family were sent an online conversation someone had with a user name similar to Andrew's nickname and stating they had run away at the age of 14.
Andrew's dad has become an ambassador for the Charity Missing People, and continues to appeal for any information that may lead to the whereabouts of his son, including setting up his own website.

This week's podcast covers the murders of Kate Bushell and Lynda Bryant and how after 28 years, Devon and Cornwall police are no closer to finding the killer or killers.
Kate was just 14 years old when she was murdered whilst out walking the neighbours dog and 42 year old Lyn had no long become a grandparent for the first time when she too was murdered whilst out walking her dog.
Two counties, one police force! Devon and Cornwall police force have in the past considered if Kate and Lyn's murders were by the same person, both cases are eerily similar and took place one year apart. For both cases, three men of interest were called upon to come forward but none of them did.
In Lyn's case, DNA has been found but never matched.

This weeks episode is very special to me, as by sheer chance I managed to connect with some close to Jessica who not only sent me a lot of information on her but also has put her words on what Jess was like and how it feels being connected.
Jessica Boyce was free spirited, lived the barefoot lifestyle and loved animals - she was the life and soul of the party and had many friends, but in 2017 she met a man who led her down a road she had long recovered from with drugs and was involved in a serious accident that left her with physical and mental lasting effects.
On 19th March 2019, Jess left the family home in her mother's Red Holden Ute which was later found in strange circumstances, Jess has not been seen since this day. Originally police investigated Jess' case as a missing person but 7 months later upgraded it to a homicide case.
Detectives believe they know who is responsible and already have some key pieces of evidence but will they ever find out where Jessica's body is so that her family and friends can bring her home?

On the 10th April 1995, 51 year old Janet Brown was home alone after a day of work. Having told her daughter she was having an early night, she was then brutally murdered in her own home. DNA of the attacker was found in the house but still 30 years on has not led to an arrest.
Two years later on the 11th April 1997, Carolanne (also known by Carolynne) had just returned home from a trip to France was attacked in her rural cottage and mudered. Item's of jewellery had been stolen and despite witness reports of a man leaving the area, police are yet to catch him.
Janet and Carolanne lived 11 miles apart and throughout the 27 years since both murders, police have questioned whether they are linked - so this week The Unsolved Podcast covers both cases and touches on other crimes in the area so that you the listeners can decide whether they are linked or not.

This weeks episode includes some poetic licence - as it may very well be a coincidence and not a crime to solve at all.
Over the past 30 months, 14 women have been reported as either missing or found in bodies of water, for the most part - Rivers. In all of these cases the police have determined that there is not third party involvement but with the recent case of Rachel Booth making headlines it has caused online communities to ask "Does the UK have a new serial killer?"
This episode brings you the facts only and as always, I ask for listener feedback but as mentioned in the podcast I do want opinions on individual cases so please keep this in mind if you wish to comment.
Warning - this episode refers to suicide and is based at adult audiences.

In August 1989, Ronald Jack and his family had fallen on hard times due to an injury forcing Ronald to give up work, so when an employment offer at a near by logging camp in British Columbia, Canada, was given to the family they couldn't say no.
Ronald, his wife Doreen and their two sons, Russell and Ryan packed up the car of the stranger who had offered the job in the early hours of 2nd August 1989 and were whisked off to commence their 10-14 days of employment, however, when the family hadn't heard from them by the 25th August, they were reported missing.
36 years on, the Jack family have still not been found nor has the man that offered them the job, the car they were seen packing up or the person who made an anonymous call 7 years on with their location.
Doreen's sister, Marlene, continues to campaign and keep their name alive via social media, fundraising events and memorials, however, still is no closer to where the only full family missing in Canada could be.
Please take some time to look over the social media pages campaigning for answers, I have also added the go fund me link below.

This weeks episode is hard hitting, as we talk about Adam - also known as "The Torso In the Thames".
Adam's case is the longest unsolved child murder case for the MET police, and to this day his true identity is still unknown. Although arrests were made and significant leads were discovered in the form of DNA, the police are no closer to knowing who this young boy really is and what happened to him.
Due to the nature of this case, an extra warning has been put in place and listener discretion is advised.

On a cold January night in 2024, a dog walker found a discarded reusable carrier bag on the junctions of Greenway and High Street South in Newham, London.
When they looked inside, they found a newborn baby wrapped in a white blanket.
However, this story is not a one off much like most abandoned babies, because this baby was a full sibling to two other babies left in close by locations in 2017 and 2019.
On this weeks episode, we cover the story of Harry, Roman and Elsa - the three full siblings who started life in similar circumstances and how the police are still trying to locate their birth parents.
