In the UK, someone is reported missing every 90 second.
For most, they are found relatively quickly however for others, they aren't - and this leaves families feeling lost, confused and searching for answers. Some missing peoples cases tend to get a huge amount of press coverage and money spent on them in efforts to find them, but what about the people missing who we don't hear about as much?
In this episode, I cover two missing people cases that aren't as well known as others.
Catrin Maguire was last seen in November 2021, despite having been through some difficulty in the months prior to her disappearance, she seemed well within herself, was in her last year of university and was excited about her gap year of travel. Catrin's parents strongly believe she is still alive and are desperate for her to come home.
Alan Rae was just 18 when he was last seen in March 1989 having completed his territorial army training, over the years, some information has come to light which has led his family to beg Police Scotland to open a murder inquiry, but they are yet to do so.
If you have any information on either of the cases covered in this episode, you can call:
