To this day, it is unknown why Andrew decided to go to London on this day instead of school. He was academically gifted, an award winning mathematician hoping to attend Cambridge University in his future.
Over the years, sightings of Andrew have been reported however these have not always been followed up by police or the follow up was delayed. In 2018, the family were sent an online conversation someone had with a user name similar to Andrew's nickname and stating they had run away at the age of 14.
Andrew's dad has become an ambassador for the Charity Missing People, and continues to appeal for any information that may lead to the whereabouts of his son, including setting up his own website.
