JZ: There are three things required. Diet Exercise Meditation - K: Let us understand the diet part first. What to eat and what not to eat? JZ: The body breaks down carbs into sugar, also called "glucose", for energy. K: What is a green SMOOTHIE? JZ: Green smoothie For 1 glass 300 ml 5 leaves of spinach 1/2 of that Ambat chuka ( khatta bhaji) 10 leaves of mint 8-10 leaves curry patta 1 beetle leaf WhatsApp Jyotindra Zaveri to get a complete recipe for the GREEN SMOOTHIE. Drink within 30 minutes as you wake up or at 5 pm - K: If you need a recipe for a green smoothie, send a WhatsApp message to 9552946949 Any more diet discipline to reverse Diabetes? JZ: For breakfast, no-carb - eat dal-chilla or sprouts. No milk. No Milk-products. Stop immediately. Green Tea or Black Tea, but no milk in Tea, also Soak four Almonds and one walnut in a glass of water for 24 hrs. Eat every day. Slit two bhindi (ladies-finger), Soak in 30 ml water overnight! Squeezed out bhindi and drink the juice (that water) - K: What about Lunch? JZ: Lunch dal one bowl - veg - roti (only 1) and salad. Lots of green chutney. No bakery products are allowed. No bread. Eat low-Glycemic Fruits only. - K: What is low-glycemic? JZ: Low glycemic foods have a more negligible effect on blood sugar than medium or high glycemic foods. Here's how the scale is broken into low, medium and high. Observe juice-feasting. - K: What is juice-feasting? JZ: Various types of liquid diets. Soup, juice, etc. Slow juicer machine. Have early dinner. If possible, before sunset. Have an early dinner. Four hours between dinner and sleep time. " Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise." K: Let us now talk about the exercise. JZ: Exercise two hours after every meal ( either walk or do 15 staircases five times up n down ) K: Last but not least. Tell us about meditation. K: There is always a conflict between head and heart. Many times we are driven by the heart for action but the mind stops or vice versa. What to do? JZ: As long as selfishness has the upper hand, games of head and heart will continue. Resulting in immorality. Only when altruism prompts action, the root of immorality will be weakened and even destroyed. A selfless person cannot be immoral. K: What do you mean by altruism? JZ: Altruism means doing things simply out of a desire to help, not because you feel obligated to out of duty, loyalty, or religious reasons. It involves acting out of concern for the well-being of other people. Today’s lifestyle is such that the mind is in a constant state of agitation. In the desire to live a life full of comfort and luxuries, our capacity for tolerance has diminished. A man practising spirituality and meditation is distinguished by his tolerance and detachment. Jyotindra Zaveri: A person, highly qualified and intelligent, was regularly going to a shop and buying slow poison. What would you call such a person? Kirti Ramdasi: With due respect to his or her intelligence but buying poison does not indicate intelligence, I would call such a person not intelligent at all. Addiction Is a Family Disease, one person may use it, but the whole family suffers! K: What are the factors that induce addiction? JZ: Family, Friendcircle, upbringing and lifestyle. Stress. Alcohol is often advertised as a Stressbuster. It may give temporary relief but creates an even bigger problem. Story of a person in the ICU? K: It is not easy to stop addiction. Recovery is hard. Regret is harder. What is the solution? JZ: Scientific Meditation along with therapeutic thinking is the sure-shot solution. Meditation therapy with Therapeutic Thinking: 1.. If you are not addicted then tell your friends to follow. JZ: Some companies selling alcohol and tobacco have very large budgets for advertisement. Ep 36 Why should Apology and Forgiveness be a way of life?
Why should Apology and Forgiveness be a way of life? What does it mean and why do people exchange these Greetings? JZ: People normally say ‘I am Sorry’. It is customary to apologise to everyone and ask for forgiveness. Forgiveness is important. Many people believe in nonviolence. On a gross level, it implies killing, and violence is not good. But on a subtle level, we do not want to hurt someone's feelings as well. But asking for forgiveness is not enough! K: Seeking forgiveness is good, it does not change the past but improves the future! But why do you say it is not enough, what more is required? JZ: In addition to apologizing and asking for forgiveness it is necessary to also forgive others. It is a two-way process. To forgive others is even more difficult. Scientific Meditation helps to improve memory but it also teaches us to forget and forgive someone’s mistake. I am trying but I know it is difficult. K: Yes agreed, acceptance and tolerance and forgiveness, those are life-altering lessons. All that is nice and on the face of it, we all agree. However, when the time comes, when a situation arises, one tends to forget all that wise advice. How does one transform at the grass-root level? I mean is it possible to change a personality or behaviour? JZ: Yes, by doing Green colour meditation on the Center of Purity one can increase tolerance power. K: Where is the Center of Purity located? JZ: Center of Purity is located at the Center of the chest near the heart. It is nothing but the Thymus gland. Fortunately, science corroborates this theory and now we know that hormones secreted by the endocrine system are responsible for urges and impulses. By doing white colour meditation on the centre of the forehead one can develop the power of friendliness. I call it therapeutic thinking. K: Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. Let us all give this gift to ourselves. Its structures include the hypothalamus, thalamus, and amygdala. The hypothalamus plays a role in the activation of the sympathetic nervous system, which is a part of any emotional reaction. Commonly known as F and F reaction. We need to understand various kinds of feelings. K: What are different kinds of feelings? JZ: There are five core feelings. Happiness, sadness, anger, fear and shame. One must understand different states of mind. Story of five friends and an Apple tree? Once friends were going on a trip, but along the way got lost in a forest. Soon they became hungry and thirsty. They searched for food for some time and finally found a fruit tree. The first man said, "Let's cut the tree down and get the fruits." The last friend said quietly, "There are plenty of good fruits on the ground, so let us just eat them first." You can see various states of mind (leshya) of these friends. The last friends' minds represent six types of leshyas. The first friend's state of mind represents Krishna (dull black) leshya. The last friend's state of mind represents Shukla (bright white) leshya. K: How to develop EQ and exceed the goal? JZ: By practising Leshya Dhyan. The colour meditation. In ancient scripture, Psychic Colours are called Leshya. That is the technical term used. Aura or Abhamandal is the energy field surrounding us. Host Kirti: How to transform? Jyotindra Zaveri (JZ): If you sincerely wish to transform yourself, you must first ensure that you do not abuse your vital force. Use it only for essentials. Non-essential activities such as anger will drain out this energy. Extreme excitement and lust drain it. Preserve your vital force. K: How to awaken the vital force? JZ: Our vital force and breathing power begin from the base of the spinal cord, along with consciousness and knowledge. If the force flows upward, our consciousness awakens, if it flows downward, consciousness is submerged. Only by taking it upward can we prepare ourselves for enlightenment. Slightly above the belly button, above the kidneys, there is a gland called adrenal glands. The adrenal glands are endocrine glands that produce a variety of hormones including adrenaline and the steroids aldosterone and cortisol. They are found above the left and right kidneys. While the term "adrenal gland" might not mean anything for you, the expression "fight or flight" is very well known and represents the essence of these glands. K: How to deal with Fatigue, mental lethargy, depression, fatigue, stress and anxiety. JZ: You need vitamin B5. This creates energy. Food: Mushroom, Cabbage, Avocado And Vitamin B6: For brain health. Food: Beans, Green leafy vegetables, Nuts (Almonds). Do the meditation step of the internal trip properly. K: What is an internal trip? This step is used to get the power from the bottom of the spinal cord that is the centre of power to the centre of knowledge, the top of the head. K: Is there any precaution or care to be taken while doing the internal trip meditation? JZ: Yes. Insulation of raw power is necessary. Do white colour meditation. Jyotindra Zaveri: Before we start, did I tell you that story of a person who was addicted to lottery tickets? K: The trouble with most people is that they have no means of backup support. When business is not doing good, the stock market drops, or they take a loss on their Investments, they seem helpless. The reason for such insecurity is that they do not know how to tap the subconscious mind power. They are not aware that they have an exhaustible power supply, an amazing source of energy is available and that is their subconscious mind power. K: Q: During the pandemic situation many people are not able to cope up with the new normal. How to cope up with such a challenging situation? Jyotindra Z: If you are having financial difficulties, if you are trying to make ends meet, it means you have not convinced your subconscious mind that you will not always have plenty but you will have surplus to give. K: People say if we do pooja, a dev will appear and say 'tathastu', and that will fulfil our dreams. How does that work? JZ: True, that dev is your subconscious mind energy. Your subconscious mind accepts your fear and negative statement as your request and proceeds in its own way to bring obstacles, delays, shortages, and limitations into your life. Remove that FEAR. K: How to remove that fear of failure? JZ: That itself is a great topic, why not discuss it at length in the next episode. K: How do we tap the power of the subconscious mind to create wealth? JZ: We tap the power of the subconscious mind by practising Anupresha dhyan. The feeling of wealth produces wealth. Prayog: Let us take an example of a car. I would rather say the car. K: You have a fundamental right to be rich. You are here to lead an important life and be happy, radiant and free. Kirti (K): It said that the Intellect is an instrument of perception, while the mind is the instrument of the senses!   Can you elaborate?

Jyotindra Zaveri (JZ): Interesting topic. 

We all are continuously thinking. What is required is to stop the train of thought. We must learn to free ourselves of thought. Live in moments of thoughtlessness. Experience both thoughtful moments and thoughtless moments. Vichar shunyata.


We need to break the gravitational pull of thoughts, to realize the value of the state of thoughtlessness.


K: The question is about the intellect and mind.

JZ: yes, intellect perceives what is seen through the mind. The mind perceives what is available through the sense doors. Five senses.

And our sense organs perceive what is gross. Not subtle. Just gross.


Attaining bliss - Anand - is the highest pursuit of humans, anand sabse Badi uplabdhi hai. 


K: How does a person become joyful or sad?

JZ: Electromagnetic waves are pulsating in the brain that has been categorized according to their frequency. 


K: What are these frequencies

JZ: There are four categories: Alpha, Beta, Theta, and Delta.


. DELTA (0.1-3 Hz):

Theta activity has a frequency of 3.5 to 7.5 Hz and is classed as “slow” activity. It is seen in connection with creativity, intuition. Tap into Alpha, Theta & Delta wave frequencies of the Human Mind to get into states of profound creativity, intuitive guidance, and even to create ‘coincidences’ to move your life forward.


. BETA (above 12 Hz). Beta activity is a ‘fast’ activity. 

Alpha brain waves are slower, and higher in amplitude. Their frequency ranges from 9 to 14 cycles per second. After you complete a task and sit down and relax. 


K: Where does old age start?

JZ:  Some people, out of ignorance, use high pillows while sleeping. This is not good, because it will deprive the head of blood supply during the night. 

As it is when we are upright the blood supply is less during the day.


Logically the brain needs the largest supply of blood, but it does not. So the aging process begins in the brain and memory is also weakened.


K: Which area of the brain is responsible for communication skills?

JZ: Left hemisphere is responsible for communication skills, Mathematics, and logic.


K: Which area is responsible for discipline and spirituality?

JZ: Right brain is responsible for discipline, character building, spirituality, and Insights. But there is a serious problem with the current educational institutes.


K: What is the problem?

JZ: Educational institutes are all engaged today to activate the left side of the brain. The right side is neglected.

We need to learn to fight with ourselves, there is nothing to be gained from fighting with others. Waging war with yourself is a rare opportunity so don't miss it. When we want instant results and quick returns we tend to look for shortcuts. In such situations meditation helps to do things the right way. Jyotindra: People assume there is no rule and governance without fear. This is partly true. But an administration that operates under fear is unstable. Transparency does help. The ruler looks good outside but secretly plans something else. This may give temporary results but in the long run, it will not work. It may collapse. Kirti: Everyone wants to be successful. What is required for success? Jyotindra: There are three essential ingredients for success. First, self-control will give a healthy, peaceful life. Second, Knowledge and understanding. Invest in training. Third, Happiness. All these attributes must be integral to our intellectual development otherwise it is only a struggle. Kirti: How to be effective in our work? Jyotindra: To be truly effective we must learn to balance work with relaxation. The ability to relax is a great tool to improve work efficiency. Kirti: But relaxation seems like a waste of time. Jyotinra: It may appear as a waste of time on the surface, but it contributes to work by improving our powers of concentration. Kirti: Yes. Long-run relaxation helps. One should not look at short-term gain but think long-term. How to achieve relaxation Jyotindra: By autosuggestion method (Kayotsarg) achieve complete relaxation with full awareness.
