Alayna Bellquist: Lyme Saved Me!

Alayna was born and raised on Vancouver Island surrounded by temperate rainforests. Since she was very little, her life has been focused on nature and animals. She had been an avid horseback rider since she was 10 years old and has worked as a Fisheries biologist for nearly 20 years. She got her graduate degree in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UCSD.


In 2020, she became bedridden with Lyme disease after being bitten by a tick in San Diego in 2017 while riding her horse. She has spent the last 3.5 years curing her chronic Lyme, using alternative and conventional medicine, mental health, and lots of nature.


She uses what she knew as a biologist to heal, and has now written a book about her Lyme healing journey, so listen to hear more of her story and how she embraced Lyme disease!

Kat Black is a Midwest born badass who was raised with a new age thought process and love for the exploration of life. Kat is definitely one of the most adventurous gals I have ever met being a fellow Aquarian. She lived in California for 11 years through her 20s, and recently has moved to Colombia by way of Texas where she’s been for a couple of years now. Kat has indulged in a variety of careers including being a hair stylist, to real estate agent, and many many more because she’s always open to exploring new ideas and currently she’s a business owner and a human relations coordinator of a tax and wealth strategy firm!


Kat holds a special place in my heart because after radiation when I was going to shave my head, she said I’ll shave my head too! So I shaved her head and then went LIVE on Facebook to shave mine. Everyone saw me bald before I did LOL. And being the amazing hairstylist she is, Kat also was the one who did my wig hairdo for my wedding!

How Cancer is Portrayed in Movies & Series Needs to CHANGE!

Most Cancer movies and series end with death 😒 Where are all the #SuccessStories? Of course there is compassion for all those that have lost their lives to cancer.


These movies and series that perpetuate CANCER = DEATH causes a vicious cycle of exactly that because our words are powerful! Even Bruce Lee once said: "Don't speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke. Your body doesn't know the difference. Words are energy and cast spells, that's why it's called spelling. Change the way you speak about yourself and you can change your life. What you're not changing, you're also choosing."


Being a #CancerSurvivor and more so THRIVER, I would love to see more of the success stories being portrayed to inspire people and give them hope that ANYTHING is possible! There are TONS of success stories globally, yet none of those stories are being told. What if more of these success stories would be told, imagine what THAT would create?

It's important to remember that healthy eating is a long-term commitment, and strict diets often lead to feelings of restriction and can be hard to stick to. With the 80/20 rule, you can enjoy your favorite indulgences occasionally WITHOUT feeling guilty. The beauty of the 80/20 rule is it helps you develop a healthy mindset around food and prevents the feeling of being on a constant "diet." It encourages you to make healthier choices most of the time while still allowing room for occasional treats or special occasions.


As humans, our nature is to want what we can't have, so what do you think restricting does to your mind? Who You Are & Who You Are NOT

The EGO says: Everything will fall into place only then will I feel at peace.


The Higher Self says: I find my peace within and everything else falls into place!


Learning to differentiate between who you ARE and who you are NOT is a significant part of your Self-Discovery. Understanding the differences and dynamics between these two aspects of your being is essential for fostering personal growth, self-awareness, and inner harmony.


The concept of the higher self and the ego has been a topic of exploration in various spiritual and psychological philosophies especially in the recent years. The higher self, which is often referred to as the true self or authentic self,

represents your inner essence, who you were born as, untouched by any external influence, such as your parents or guardians, or societal conditioning, like school and such. It embodies your deepest aspirations, values, and spiritual connection. It is the source of our inner guidance and serves as a compass for our journey towards self-realization.


On the contrary, when you are not in your natural state, who you were born as, you are coming from Survival Mechanism, fear, and protection. You are often living in a story about the past or your concerns about the future. In the present moment, your full experience of love, joy, power, and connection is blocked. Typically, this happens when you get triggered, scared, or some story that’s typically a pattern in your life happens.


This is when the ego takes over, which is what develops psychologically as a result of our interactions with the external world. It is shaped by societal norms, parental & cultural influences, and of course personal experiences.

How Do You Receive YOUR Intuition?

Have you noticed we ALL have some kind of inner guidance? WHEN we are connected to our higher self, that inner wisdom, your intuition is the strongest and clearest.

With animals, it's an instinct and with us you could say instinct, however as you develop and master your intuition, you may receive that inner guidance in several ways.


Much like you have five physical senses: seeing, hearing, touching, tasting, and smelling, we each have the ability to experience or develop 8 “CLAIR” senses aka spiritual psychic senses, 5 of which are primary ways and, 3 are secondary ways to intuitively receive information.


The 5 primary Clair senses or spiritual senses are: clairvoyance, claircognizance, clairaudience, clairempathy, & clairsentience.

And the 3 secondary are: clairtangency, clairsalience, & clairgustance.


To develop your Intuition, it may be helpful to know that most individuals begin by having a dominant way of receiving intuitive information. As you practice your skills more consistently, other Intuitive Senses may also begin to grow and expand.

Following your intuition knowing it's always in your highest good solves any indecisiveness you may experience! Your intuition will guide to you to the best path for you when you listen & trust your intuition.


When you use your body’s intelligence and intuition on EVERYTHING it allows you to live life with EASE!

Release Your FEAR & Spark Your JOY!

We all have 6 core emotions that all others fall under one of these CORE emotions: JOY, SADNESS, ANGER, FEAR, DISGUST, & SURPRISE.


We create stories throughout our lives, many of which are based on those childhood experiences and we give meaning to what's happened to us. Some experiences have us create UNREAL FEAR in our minds. This does not mean the emotion of FEAR is unreal. REAL fear includes those external FEARS like someone holding a gun to the head RIGHT NOW or being chased by a lion, tiger or bear in the PRESENT moment, which is REAL FEAR from external stimuli. UNREAL FEAR on the other hand are fears we create based on something that happened to us or something someone said, or a statistic, or whatever it may be which can also include PTSD

or fear of the future based on past experiences.


We have a CHOICE – to CHOOSE the FEAR story OR Create a new one! A story that SPARKS YOUR JOY! Where the thought of it will make you smile from ear to ear within seconds, FEELING that JOY exploding inside of you and oozing out of you, which is a much higher vibe than FEAR and even above the LOVE Frequency!


Once you ACCEPT your fears as an INTERPRETATION within your mind, and realize it's an UNREAL FEAR, then you can shift! Because this type of FEAR is in your imagination, so it's FICTIONAL and therefore UNREAL!

Triggers Are Opportunities for HEALing & Growth!

A trigger is a trigger, we ALL have them and we each can CHOOSE to either react in the moment OR recognize them and walk away until we cool down to talk again when we connect to our Higher Self.

We have certain traumatic experiences at some point in our life, most likely childhood, and with that traumatic event, the brain often ingrains sensory stimuli into memory so when a person encounters the same stimuli in different context,

the trigger is associates with the trauma from a past experience.

⁣In some cases, a sensory trigger can cause an emotional reaction without any awareness before a person realizes why they are upset, which can be disrupted through higher consciousness and practice before getting to that explosion mode.

What’s worse with such limiting beliefs and triggers, we attract various scenarios into our life that bring about the same trigger until we CHOOSE to use that trigger to guide us and HEAL that layer, viewing it as a GIFT.

Your TRIGGERS reveal what still lives within you and what hasn't been healed!

Dr. Rachael: I Am Not Your Run-of-the-Mill Psychologist!

Dr. Rachael is not your run-of-the-mill psychologist. She's a Stanford-trained psychologist turned Defy Relationship Conformity Clini-Coach® ️whose specialty is helping people navigate the world of ethical non-monogamy (aka ENM) without all the fear of judgment, jealousy, or damaged relationships. Dr. Rachael grew up with the same old story we've all heard – find a partner, tie the knot, have some kids, work your tail off for ages, and finally retire to enjoy life. But instead, she decided to go off-script and take some risks that most of us wouldn't even consider.


After saying "I do," she ventured into the swinging lifestyle and, for the past 3.5 years, she's been in a polytriad/throuple relationship with her husband, Aaron, and fiancé, Kasey…not your typical suburban setup. In addition, there are more than twenty minor chakras, such as in the palms of the hands, on the knees, and on the soles of the feet. As I always say, the greater the pain & struggle, the greater the gain & gratitude! Of course I’ve also learned that we don’t HAVE to experience pain & struggle to leap into our next level.

However it’s by overcoming adversity that we learn to become resilient and stronger AND have more gratitude for the times we are ALIVE & High Vibing!


Many of us have been conditioned to believe that achieving our goals and dreams requires hard work, struggle, and sacrifice.

This "No Pain, No Gain" mindset suggests that success can ONLY be attained through blood, sweat, and tears.


On the other hand, there's a growing movement centered around manifesting with ease, which encourages us to focus on aligning our thoughts, beliefs, and intentions to effortlessly attract what we desire.

When you make a conscious effort to be in control of your thoughts, which then create emotions and have set your intentions, then manifestation can seem like MAGIC!

Setting an intention and creating a future vision you live into is key for manifestation to happen.

Enablement Creates Entitlement

Enablement is "the action of giving someone the authority or means to do something."

In psychotherapy and mental health, enabling does have a positive sense of empowering individuals, BUT it can also have a negative sense of encouraging dysfunctional behavior.

Entitlement is " the belief that one is inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment", even if that means it has not been earned.

Enabling someone to behave a certain way can lead to entitlement rather than appreciation & gratitude at times, so of course there is that part of taking responsibility for the enablement AND taking action to put an end to enabling the same behavior.

People act entitled in relationships because they are overcompensating for never getting what they want OR are comfortable in always getting what they want.

When enablement is not balanced with the development of personal responsibility and accountability, it can unintentionally lead to entitlement.

Enablement can also be positive when individuals are given the necessary tools, resources, and opportunities to achieve their goals or fulfill their needs.

It can be empowering as it encourages people to become more self-sufficient, confident, and capable in various aspects of their lives.

Most times this begins at a young age.There is a fine line between enabling and encouraging kids to follow their intuition AND guiding them as parents.

It's why they say behind every entitled child is an enabling parent.

Kristian Bayan: Breast Cancer Inspired me to Redefine Life with Cancer!

Kristian Bayan is a breast cancer survivor and a fellow thriver in her early 30s. She was diagnosed with Stage1 breast cancer at 30 and experienced her whole rebirth as she went through her surgery and chemo treatments while we worked together! So yes, she is a former client of mine who's now become a great friend and we are now collaborating together in a monthly High Vibe Support Tribe for anyone who's had cancer, is newly diagnosed, as well as caregivers.

Kristian is also the co-founder of Pink Strength, a local nonprofit here in San Diego who's mission is:

Your Brain is Electric!

Your brain generates enough electricity to power a lightbulb! Your brain contains about 100 billion microscopic cells called neurons.

Whenever you dream, laugh, think, see, exercise, move, or anything really it’s because tiny chemical and electrical signals are racing between these neurons along billions of tiny neuron highways.

Your brain activity NEVER STOPS! Neurons transmit information between each other through chemical and ELECTRICAL signals via synapses forming neural networks, those neuron highways, which is a series of interconnected neurons.

This is what is meant by “the wiring of the brain” or “neurons that fire together, wire together”.

It's like having a supercharged pinball machine with countless messages zipping all around every second.

We have 5 main brain waves depending on our state of mind, which have frequency associated to them ranging from 0 Hz - 100Hz:

DELTA, THETA, ALPHA, BETA, & GAMMA.

Emotional vulnerability is most typically felt as anxiety due to the fear of the future, which is what anxiety really is: worrying about the FUTURE.

Whether that's fear of being rejected, shamed, or judged as inadequate and the underlying reason people avoid it is to protect themselves from getting hurt.

It may show up as passive aggressiveness, anger, silent treatment, pride or even aggression.

In 2012 Brene Brown defined emotional vulnerability as “uncertainty, risk, and emotional exposure”.

Be open to sharing what you feel and taking those risks, WHEN your intuition tells you that the risk is well worth it!

Vulnerability is a strength, and that is POWERFUL!
