The Power of Data Literacy: Creating a Competitive Edge Ft. Angelika Klidas
On this episode of Data Strategy Guru's, host Yves Mulkers welcomes guest Angelika Klidas, who shares her expertise on data and analytics in a minor program. The program covers various aspects of the business, and students learn to align KPIs with organizational goals, write business cases for BI, run a project, write measure plans, and analyze data. Angelika emphasizes the importance of creating "beautiful insights" and how being perceived as an expert in a field they are still learning about can actually lead to better advice given. Also discussed are the challenges of balancing performance with the need for specific data and the four pillars essential for forming a data culture: organizational perspective, data management, analytics, and education. Tune in to gain insights and stay ahead of the game in the constantly evolving data landscape. ---- Angelika Klidas discovered QlikView as a late bloomer in 2007 during her studies at the University of Applied Sciences. She quickly fell in love with the product and began using it in her workplace at UWV. Her proficiency with QlikView impressed her colleagues and she was asked to become a teacher, which launched her into teaching with QlikView. In 2014, she transitioned to using QlikSense, and when the Qlik academic program was introduced, she eagerly incorporated it into her classes.
