Magu diner is an independent burger restaurant and takeaway based in Bath.
Magu pride themselves on an incredibly cool restaurant design but also a menu that makes use of a wide range of incredible local ingredients. Their sauces are made by hand on-site, and if you were to take just one look at the images they share on social media you’ll see it’s no wonder they have become something of a local sensation!
Today I am joined by founder Leon Dunnett.
This week I sit down with Joan and Daniel, 2 of the 3 founders of Tlaloc, a New Mexican Restaurant in Brighton that takes the British take on Mexican food to a whole new level.
Up and running for around a year at this point, these guys have gone from strength to strength.
By staying true to what they believe with their menus, listening to their customers, and nailing their social media, they have built a brand to be proud of.
In this episode, we learn the story of Tlaloc and how 3 friends that worked together, came to join forces and take Brightons Mexican food scene by storm.
In this episode I talk to the UK's Queen of burgers, Annie Spaziano. Annie is an American born restauranteur who made her mark in the UK when she started her venture into the UK's Burger industry.
Annie has gone from humble beginnings of almost losing her business before she'd even started it and went on to build a growing chain of 3 Burger restaurants in the UK Midlands.
She has an incredible story of how she almost missed her shot and has one of the most exciting burger menus the UK has ever seen! Her eye for detail in her restaurants really shines through and her vision to focus on beer as well as burgers has proved an unsurprising hit!
Annies warm personality really shone through in this interview and it was an absolute pleasure to have her on the podcast, so without further delay, lets get to it!
