The Real Scoop
EP 16- The messy middle. How to keep moving when everything feels uncertain.

The messy middle, that space between who you were and who you’re becoming, is one of the hardest to transition through alone whilst staying positive! But also where the biggest break through's lie.

In this week’s episode of The Real Scoop, I’m talking about what it really looks and feels like to move through change, whether you’re coming out of a breakup, starting a new job, navigating a career shift, or simply realising that your old life no longer fits.

If you’re an ambitious woman who’s feeling stuck, uncertain, or like you’ve lost your sense of direction, this episode will help you make sense of it all!!

Here’s what we dive into-

-I will explain exactly what the messy middle really is, and how to recognise when you’re in it
-Why we struggle to let go of relationships, jobs, or identities (and the psychology behind it)
-How to regulate your nervous system when everything around you feels uncertain or out of control
-How to stay calm and not spiral when life’s unexpected situations happen.
-I will talk about my own experience navigating huge shifts this year, and how clarity helped me stay grounded through the chaos!

-Why getting clear on where you’re heading gives you strength and momentum when things feel heavy
Also more of an insight into how coaching can support you in breaking through fear, finding clarity, and rebuilding your confidence in the in-between

Remember, The messy middle isn’t forever. It’s the bridge between where you’ve been and where you’re meant to go.

If you’re ready to find clarity and support as you move through change, DM me on Instagram @iamerintaylor to book your free 30-minute coaching call.

EP 15- How 1:1 coaching could be the exact support you need.

Do you ever feel like you’re stuck in a cycle of overwhelm, burnout, or constant crisis mode?
Maybe you tell yourself things will change next week… but nothing really shifts.

In this episode of The Real Scoop, I share with you exactly what and how you can expect to feel when you choose to invest in 1:1 coaching, and why this could be the exact support you’ve been searching for.

Here’s what you can expect from the episode-
-Why so many ambitious women find themselves in crisis mode, running on outdated beliefs, that cause's them to sacrifice their wellbeing, and struggle to make decisions confidently.
-How I help clients regulate their nervous system through breathwork and simple tools that take them out of fight-or-flight.
-Why coaching isn’t a one-size-fits-all, and why your journey needs to be bespoke to your needs.
-The kinds of transitions my clients bring to coaching, including, leaving relationships, navigating divorce, making bold career changes, or stepping into new levels of leadership and business, & how when your NS is regulated this makes all these decisions feel easier.
-How I’ve supported women for years, walking with them through every stage of their growth, identity shifts, and big life decisions.
-A reminder that you’re not broken, and why change becomes possible the moment you allow yourself the right support.

Whether you’re navigating a career shift, a difficult relationship, or you’re simply tired of sacrificing your wellbeing for success.

This episode will show you what’s possible when you give yourself permission to regulate, and reset.

The Real Scoop
EP 14- When friendships change, how to know it’s time for you to let go.

Friendships shape more than your social life, they affect how you show up, how you feel, and even your nervous system.

It’s also inevitable that your friendships will change. As we grow, our priorities shift, and sometimes we outgrow relationships we once thought we couldn’t live without. But letting go doesn’t have to feel like you have failure.
In this episode of The Real Scoop, I explore why friendships evolve, how to navigate these changes with confidence, and why releasing relationships that no longer serve you is essential for your well-being and nervous system regulation.

What you’ll discover in this episode,

  • Why we resist letting go even when our gut knows it’s time (through our tribal instincts, fear of exclusion, and the belief that “friendship's have to last  forever”).
  • How to spot friendships that no longer align with your values, life stage, or personal growth.
  • My personal journey with boundaries, hurt, and stepping away from friendships that no longer supported me through my 20's.
  • How to identify and avoid the Drama Triangle in friendships (Victim, Rescuer, Prosecutor, By Stephen Karpman).
  • The importance of forgiveness and releasing the emotional impact when friendships end.
  • How your friendships affect your nervous system, emotional well-being, and energy more than you might realise.
  • How to spot toxic patterns, including projection, gossip, or emotional imbalance in friendships.
  • How to make sure that you are creating space for the fully aligned, supportive relationships that boost your confidence and sense of belonging.

Tools & Reflection Prompts,

  • Reflect on your friendships: Are they 80/20? Are you putting in more effort than you’re receiving?
  • Ask yourself regularly, "Does this friendship still genuinely support my growth, energy, and well-being?"
  • Identify where you can let go without guilt, and create space for connections that truly serve you.
  • Consider, Are you staying in friendships out of habit, fear, or societal expectation?

This episode will give you the clarity, courage, and tools to navigate shifting friendships, embrace growth, and focus on the connections that truly matter.

The Real Scoop
EP 8. Break ups, Attachment Styles & Healing: How to confidently date without losing yourself.

In this week’s episode of The Real Scoop, I’m joined by breakup coach Kelly for a real, honest conversation about attachment styles, marriage, breakups, dating, and building healthier relationships.

Kelly shares honestly and openly about her own powerful story, and how she left her marriage after just 6 months, and the turning points that led her to becoming a breakup coach.

I also open up about how my own breakups have shaped me, (Yes there has been a few ladies!!) & what I’ve learned, and how those experiences have shaped me and why I am able to look back and not regret them. Why both of us believe you should work on yourself while single, but also why some of the deepest healing only happens once you’re in a relationship.

Here are some of the key topics we cover in this episode and the moments you can jump straight to-

  • 10:45- The traits of avoidant, anxious, and secure attachment, and how they play out in relationships
  • 11:30- Where attachment styles come from and how childhood shapes them
  • 13:10- Warning signs to look for if you’re anxious and dating someone avoidant
  • 24:00- The role of nervous system regulation in relationships — and how to calm anxiety in love
  • 34:00- Why it’s important to have single friends when you’re single (and why being at a similar life stage matters)
  • 37:00- How to be single and genuinely happy
  • 45:00- The difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships
  • 54:00- Why you should delete those photos, block your ex, and protect your peace
  • 50:00- How to leave when you feel too intertwined to walk away
  • 57:00- Tools like the pros and cons list and why its important to do this after a break up
  • 59:00- Who are you posting the photos really for? You or them?
  • 1:04:00- How dating should feel, and why deep conversations won’t scare off the right person for you off
  • 1:14:00- Why you need honest conversations sooner rather than later, especially as you grow older
  • 1:22:00- Avoiding comparison and defining your own version of relationship success
  • 1:17:00- What to aim for on a first date, and how to trust yourself and your body in the process

We also reference two books that have deepened both our understanding when it comes to relationships during the episode-

  • Attached by Amir Levine & Rachel Heller
  • The Chimp Paradox by Dr. Steve Peters

The Real Scoop
EP 7- What if comparison was trying to show you what you REALLY wanted?

Comparison is something we all do, especially as ambitious women trying to find our way through change, uncertainty, or a new season in life.

In this episode of The Real Scoop, I’m diving into the science behind why we compare, how a dysregulated nervous system can make it even worse, and what to do when you catch yourself spiralling into negative self-talk.

What you can expect to hear during the episode-

  • The truth about where comparison comes from (and why it makes sense your mind goes there)
  • Why you compare more when you’re in a season of transition or experiencing low self-worth
  • Mindset shifts that I have personally used to flip comparison into inspiration
  • How to anchor into what you do have, even when your brain wants to pull you to focus on what’s missing
  • Prompts that will help you turn jealousy into clarity and forward movement

This episode if a pure reminder for that someone else’s success should not take away from your own timeline, and how if you use comparison in the right way, it  can actually guide you back to what you really want, if you let it!

The Real Scoop
EP 3. How the beliefs you didn’t choose, are now choosing your future

In this episode of The Real Scoop, we’re getting into part two of the Inner Clarity Code, rewiring your belief system so it finally supports the life you’re building.

If you feel like you know what you want, but your actions do not currently match it, this is the work you need to focus on
Most of your beliefs were formed before the age of 7. But they are now still running the show in your career, your relationships, your confidence… and your next chapter.

Your belief system is outdated. And if you’re not consciously rewriting it, you’ll keep repeating patterns that no longer fit the woman you’re becoming.

Inside this episode, I break down for you-
-How your early belief system was wired for survival, not expansion.
-The invisible link between your nervous system and belief system.
-Why just mindset work alone is not enough to create deep change.
-My own journey with unlearning the belief “I’m not good enough”.
-What it actually takes to rewire your internal dialogue and take action that sticks.

No vision board, strategy or plan can override a belief that constantly repeats-
 “You’re not worthy.”
“You’ll burn out if you go bigger.”
“You’ll have to sacrifice happiness if you want to grow.”

And if any part of you is nodding along, listening to this episode is your next step.

The Real Scoop
EP 2. Why your nervous system might actually be blocking you from achieving the life you say you want.

In this episode of The Real Scoop, I’m diving deep into the first step of my Inner Clarity Code, which is nervous system regulation, and why this is the piece so many ambitious women skip… even though it holds the key to lasting change.

I’ll be breaking down for you,

-What nervous system regulation actually means (in real language)
-Why we choose to bypass it, and how its actually keeping us stuck in sabotage
-What happens to you when your body doesn’t feel safe to take action
-My own story of unlearning the belief that success, equalled burnout and why the nervous system regulation work had to come first
-How to start create full-body calibration, so action actually feels grounded and safe

This has been a game-changer for the women in which I coach and for myself, especially over the last few months navigating big life and business shifts that have caused me to really test how regulated my nervous system is and can I hold whats next.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing “all the right things” but still can’t move forward, this episode will help you see what’s really going on beneath the surface.

Because,
-You can’t think your way into a life that your body still feels safe to live, you have to show your body it is safe.
-You can’t take aligned action from a place of survival.
And you’re not lazy, broken, or falling behind, your nervous system just hasn’t caught up yet.

🎧 Tune in now and let’s get real about the part of personal growth most people avoid, but you know you are brave enough to face.

EP 4. Seasons change and so do your relationships, how to let go without the guilt

In this episode of The Real Scoop, we’re diving into one of the most overlooked parts of personal growth, the people in your life. I’m sharing the real, unfiltered truth about how your relationships can either regulate or dysregulate your nervous system, support your goals, or be quietly sabotaging them and keeping you in the same place.

We’ll explore-

  • How to identify if a relationship is helping you grow or keeping you small
  • The role your core values play in attracting aligned relationships into your life
  • How to spot and stop energy leaks in friendships, family, and work
  • Why setting boundaries doesn’t make you a bad person
  • The guilt we carry when outgrowing relationships and how to let it go with confidence
  • Why ending friendships often feels harder than romantic relationships (and what to do about it)
  • The relationships I’ve had to release in order to step into a new season, and how it changed everything

Whether you’re navigating changes in your friendships, career, or personal identity… this episode will help you get radically honest about who you’re becoming, and who no longer fits that future.

The Real Scoop
EP 1. The Real Scoop on rewriting your identity, regulating your nervous system & owning the next season of your life

In this very first episode, I am giving you The Real Scoop on what this podcast is all about, why I created it after walking away from everything that felt safe and familiar to me.

My corporate job, my relationship, the city I called home for 6 years, and how this season of my life has forced me to move through the messy middle like never before!

I’ll take you behind the scenes of my biggest identity shift yet,
→ What I’ve had to let go of to become the version of myself I always knew was there.
→ Why I created the Inner Clarity Code and how it’s helped women (and me) move through the “messy middle” of change with confidence.
→ The butterfly metaphor that’s guided my entire rebirth, and new becomings.
→ What nervous system regulation really is, and why it’s essential before you can feel clear or take aligned action

This is for the ambitious woman who’s outwardly successful but knows something deeper is shifting within.

Because, you’re not lost, you’re just in your cocoon. And you no longer have to feel like you need to navigate it alone.

What to expect from this podcast series-

  • Real, honest convos on mindset, clarity, and regaining personal power
  • Solo episodes and expert guests who’ve walked through real change
  • Breathwork, belief system rewiring, nervous system regulation, to give you that fully body calibration.
  • A whole lot of permission to start over

If you’re a high-achieving woman who feels like your personal life is shifting faster than you can keep up, this one’s for you.

In this episode, I’m joined by the one person who’s been with me through every season of my life I can remember, my best friend of 25+ years, Meg.

She’s seen it all, especially the last 7 months of navigating heartbreak, burnout, identity shifts, and letting go of the life I thought I should have by now.

What you can expect from this episode-
-How stress shows up in the body (even when you’re "holding it all together")
-Why the right friendships are a non-negotiable for business and emotional success
-What we believe makes a friendship last through decades and huge life changes
-How your inner circle shapes your nervous system and decision-making
-How to support a friend through a breakup, without overstepping or shutting them down
-Meg’s also shared an idea for a 4th business idea... You have to listen to find out what this is!

This is much more than just a conversation, its the real scoop on topics which many shy away with online, and one which I had to bring to you!

Whether you’re recalibrating your relationships, redefining your success, or rebuilding your identity, this episode is the real scoop you didn’t know you needed.

The Real Scoop
EP 5. Why taking aligned action starts messy, but that’s where true confidence is created.

In this episode of The Real Scoop, we’re diving into the final piece of the Inner Clarity Code: Taking Aligned Action, and why this is where everything begins to shift for you.

Now you understand exactly why you need to do the work to regulate your nervous system, rewire your beliefs, and redefine your relationships. Because this is the missing piece that ensures you can take aligned action toward your goals and visions, without the stop-start effect.

Inside this episode, I explain exactly-

  • Why you don’t need to have it all figured out to take the first step
  • The hidden link between procrastination, perfectionism, and fear of success
  • How self-sabotage often protects your outdated beliefs, not your future
  • Why nervous system work and belief rewiring must come before strategy
  • The truth about successful women, spoiler alert... they are not immune to fear, they're just so clear on their vision and not afraid to take action.

I’m also sharing the exact tools I give to my clients (and use myself) to take action that feels clear, grounded, and aligned, even when it’s scary or uncertain.
Think meditation, journaling, visualisation… but you’ll have to listen in to hear how to use them effectively.

Because clarity isn’t something you think your way into.
It’s something you build by moving forward, one aligned, uncomfortable, stretchy movement at a time.
