2021 Reflection
This episode is my reflection of the year 2021. What a tremendous year of blessings, challenges and miracles. In 2020 - 2021 I felt like I have fluctuated through all five stages of grief, denial, anger, bargaining, sadness and acceptance. I felt like I lived through the pandemic in a relatively new city, away from many of my home comforts. The experience illuminated what I truely value. However, I am also grateful to be here right now in this moment recording this episode- reflecting on this miraculous journey we call life. I enjoyed any sorts of reflections because it means leveraging the power of our minds to ponder intentionally about ideas or sensations. This is a unique human capacity driven by our ability to store, retrieve and correlate stored memories and information. I am a firm believer on the power of self-reflection to acknowledge , learn and improve. Instead of letting ideas and sensations roam freely in our minds, we should drive and frame our thoughts. ——- How was your reflection, what did you learn and what don’t you want to carry with you into 2022?. If you haven’t already, it’s never too late, we are only in mid-January. These are the key steps required to engage in reflection: 1- Intention. The purpose to think about a concrete idea; 2) Context. The identification of aspects relevant to this idea; 3) Creation. The generation of new ideas; 4) Conclusion. The identification of outcomes and value of the reflection process. Let me know how your reflection is going @ zakinsideout@gmail.com or @IG “insideout_Pod” or @FB “Inside Out Pod”.

How to overcome loneliness.
I hope that on your journey of loneliness you are kind to yourself, accepting that this is a temporary phase in your life and that in time you will get out of it successfully. I also hope you recognised that the loneliness you are feeling is due to what goes on in our mind and that is part your thoughts and perceptions. It is unique to you, therefore the solution too should be within you. In this episode I shared my journey of loneliness to help you reflect on your journey and hopefully you can workout suitable strategies to address your journey. However, by all means if you’re struggling to address your feelings of loneliness or any type of mental/physical health, trauma or domestic violence that is making you feel lonely or isolated. I encourage you to reach out to appropriate support networks in your area.

Self-love / Self-care
In this episode I explored my self-love journey, (how it started, what made me start it and the steps I took to achieve the outcome). Self love helped me tap into internal peace, internal self-acceptance, internal motivation, internal happiness and radical self-love. Through self-love I was able to study myself, question myself, and became aware of myself in a way that when negative self-talk and other negative habits came to visit me, I know who they are, what they need and how to healed them. My self-love journey was very rocky with lost of setbacks however the end results was satisfying.

Inside Out
Growing up Between two cultures/Third culture kid.
In this episode I shared my experiences of growing up between two cultures. I used the terminology: Third Culture Kid (TCK) to explore my journey. I explored the concept of what determines home/why, and how I came to that understanding and acceptance of my notion of home. I have accepted that I don’t feel like I belong in anyone culture. Ive lived and experienced so many cultures, that I feel like I've embraced them all. I could never imagine life without being a TCK. To this day, I still crave the sight of new countries, new cities, new people, even when I have constantly moved throughout my life. It’s fantastic meeting new friends, that you eventually keep for life.
