This episode is my reflection of the year 2021. What a tremendous year of blessings, challenges and miracles.
In 2020 - 2021 I felt like I have fluctuated through all five stages of grief, denial, anger, bargaining, sadness and acceptance. I felt like I lived through the pandemic in a relatively new city, away from many of my home comforts. The experience illuminated what I truely value. However, I am also grateful to be here right now in this moment recording this episode- reflecting on this miraculous journey we call life.
I enjoyed any sorts of reflections because it means leveraging the power of our minds to ponder intentionally about ideas or sensations. This is a unique human capacity driven by our ability to store, retrieve and correlate stored memories and information.
I am a firm believer on the power of self-reflection to acknowledge , learn and improve. Instead of letting ideas and sensations roam freely in our minds, we should drive and frame our thoughts.

How was your reflection, what did you learn and what don’t you want to carry with you into 2022?.
If you haven’t already, it’s never too late, we are only in mid-January.
These are the key steps required to engage in reflection: 1- Intention. The purpose to think about a concrete idea; 2) Context. The identification of aspects relevant to this idea; 3) Creation. The generation of new ideas; 4) Conclusion. The identification of outcomes and value of the reflection process.
Let me know how your reflection is going @ zakinsideout@gmail.com or @IG “insideout_Pod” or @FB “Inside Out Pod”.
