5 Things I’ve Learned After 4 Years in NYC 🗽
They say you have to live here five years to be a “real New Yorker” — but my Knicks fandom and bodega loyalty say otherwise (still no Timbs… yet).
This city will make you feel alive like nowhere else — and sometimes make you question your sanity waiting in a Walgreens line for deodorant.
After four years, here’s what I know about The Big Apple:
1️⃣ Doing simple things is hard. Doing epic sh*t is easy.
2️⃣ You’re getting value-extracted everywhere (and yeah, it’s still worth it).
3️⃣ Skip the 2-hour restaurant line. The spot next door is just as good.
4️⃣ Everyone’s down for everything.
5️⃣ It’s all worth it — every siren, surcharge, and sleepless night.
Four years down. Here’s to many more 🗽
