Is forgiveness an act of kindness towards another person or towards yourself? Does resentment and bitterness heal your pain, or keep you attached to it. Join me for a brief discussion. If you would like short exercises to work on the process of forgiveness, feel free to send me an email with the subject line Forgiveness Education, and I will be happy to send you worksheets to help support the process. When we stop fighting against what is and create space for it, we find freedom.
Often, we invest ourselves and our time in loving someone else. Something else. Other people. We know how to love, we do it all the time. We forget though, that in order to keep the energy flowing, we need to invest in loving ourselves. Not, loving ourselves more, just loving ourselves as we love others. Invest in yourself today. Love yourself today.
Through this meditation, reach out to your inner child. Reach out to the wounded child, the child seeking acceptance and love. Your inner child hold the keys to your deepest, inner emotions and has been waiting for you to come back to them.
Give yourself 20 minutes today, to check in with yourself. Twenty minutes to reconnect to your body, to discover what is going on within yourself, and become aware of some of the negative thoughts that are driving the tension you may be feeling. If you are suffering greatly with anxiety, meditation can be a part of a self-care routine that can help ground yourself, and regain a little control over your thoughts. This, in combination with counseling, yoga and medication if needed can help you put together the puzzle of how to manage your anxiety. You deserve to feel relaxed. You deserve peace of mind.
There are moments, days or seasons, when everything seems to come at you all at once. Regardless of what is going on, what is coming into your life, there is only one way to get through, and that is with one breathe at a time. We have a tendency to try to solve everything at once. No matter who we are and what we do in life, we still must get through one breath at a time. Take some time now, to slow down and live, even if for 20 minutes - one breathe at a time.
There are days, weeks, months or years, where we go in search, here, there and everywhere to find the answers to the questions we have about; relationships, work, our future, our feelings, our struggles or our inner workings. We forget to look inside. We forget or we doubt that we have this higher wisdom self, that has been trying to speak to us, trying to connect with some answers and some direction. Let's take some time now, to connect with this self, and re-establish this guiding sense that is with us and within us.
When the world is whirling round and round, and it seems as though you have created this deep chasm of emptiness by disconnecting from ourselves, our loved ones and the world at large, come to this meditation to re-establish kindness and compassion for yourself and for others.
On this day of love, know that, the best person to love you is, you. Love yourself as you wish to be loved. Speak only kind words to yourself. Words of acceptance, words of forgiveness, words of encouragement. Practice doing this and soon you will find, that as you build a practice of lifting yourself up, no other will be able to bring you down.
Sometimes, we spend our entire lives searching for joy. We look for it in our jobs or our relationships, and we forget to look inside of ourselves. The root of our joy can be found deep within. We can find it, by being present and becoming aware of the wonder of our own bodies, our own breath. Take some time today, to cultivate the joy that lives inside of you.
Grief can feel like it lives in the dark. In allowing it to dwell there, it can feel insurmountable. Join me for this discussion and meditation and let's hold space for this pain together.
Sometime it is difficult to feel grateful. Some "seasons' of our lives can try to rob us of our sense of gratefulness and deep appreciation of what we have in our lives. Use this meditation as a bridge back to gratitude. Understanding that although we may not be where we want to be, or have what we want to have, there is still plenty for us to appreciate. *I am even grateful for the sound of my little puppy crying at the end of the meditation because he wanted to be in the room with me, as it remined me that I am loved!
You are loved and you are worthy! Sometimes in life, we feel as though we are drifting through it alone. Allow this talk and meditation to bring you closer to the loving energy that surrounds you.
Allow yourself to break free from the narrow definitions and judgments society places on us. Be free to roam your mind and find your creativity waiting to be discovered.
Breathing in, let your mind take you to a safe place, where there is only peace and calm. It's your safe space, where you can go when you need to relax and unwind.
A simple breathing meditation can go a long way to bringing peace into our bodies, and to help us navigate the day with a sense of calm and relaxation.
