What if your “unexplained” infertility is actually your vaginal microbiome? An insightful conversation with Naturopath Maddison Auld

If your vagina’s been out of whack but all the tests come back “normal,” or if you’ve been told you have “unexplained” infertility but your gut says there’s more to the story — this episode is for you.

I’m joined by Naturopath Maddison Auld from Brightfolk Naturopathy to dive into the hidden world of the vaginal microbiome and its powerful role in reproductive health. Could the bacteria living in your vagina be the missing link to why you’re struggling with fertility, recurrent infections, or symptoms that just don’t add up on standard tests?

In this episode, you’ll learn:

  • Why “unexplained” infertility might not be unexplained at all

  • The connection between vaginal microbiome health and conception

  • What conventional testing often overlooks

  • Early signs your vaginal microbiome might be out of balance

  • Steps to support vaginal health and when to dig deeper

Whether you’re navigating infertility, ongoing vaginal symptoms, or simply want to understand your body on a deeper level, this conversation with Maddison will empower you with knowledge that goes beyond the standard medical script.

The Jade Walker Way
Elevating Palestine: gaining perspective and POVs from a Jewish person who stands with Palestine
In this episode I interview a Melbourne Jewish woman who stands with Palestine and helps us to unpack different Jewish beliefs and misinformation surrounding Jewish people right now. This episode is a really progressive and compassionate discussion that helps us to keep our minds open and stay focussed on the most important goal. A little background on how this episode came to light: I felt that it was important to speak to a Jewish person on this topic and by the ways of the universe, Monday morning I had someone in my inbox tell me about a friend who'd be perfect to bring on. I was the one who offered to keep her identity anonymous if she wanted to, as I knew speaking on this perspective wouldn't be easy. So within an hour of meeting we were on air on Monday, the 27th of November. If you'd like to see more of these episodes I'd love if you could share this episode and shout me a coffee here shorturl.at/rvDV4 💜 Shop the tea sale: https://www.jadewalker.com.au/product-category/view-all/

Elevating Palestinian Voices with Susanna Moumar

Trigger warnings: this episode talks about racism, passing of family members and distressing historical moments. If these topics are triggering for you you may want to skip this episode. If any of the topics in this episode bring up emotional distress you can call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Today I talk to Palestinian Australian Susanna Moumar who is a mother, similar age to me, and lives in Melbourne, Victoria. The aim of this episode is to bring a voice to Palestinians from all walks of life to celebrate their culture and draw connection to them in the same way we view ourselves and those around us. We also talk about the stigma and realities of being Palestinian in Australia, experiencing racism and being faced with more challenges to integrate.

We talk about what is, and has been, happening for decades to Palestine including both Gaza and the West Bank and also acknowledge it deserves another episode to unpack it even further.

Talking neurodivergence with Naturopath Laura Taylor PART 2

PART 2: On this well-overdue episode I talk with long-time-Naturopath-friend and colleague Laura Taylor, who's also been on the same ride as me discovering our neurodivergence.

💜 Support this Podcast & Buy Me a Coffee shorturl.at/rvDV4 💜 In this episode (split into two, because hey long-winded-ADHD-tangents), we talk about just about everything that's been on our minds about ADHD and autism as both late diagnosed and/or self-diagnosed female adults. We address person-first language, neuro-affirming practice, misconceptions, things we used to believe that we no longer do, how neurodivergence shows up in infant and toddler sleep, practitioners you should see, what Laura does to support her ND patients and soooo much more (like, so much). Stay tuned for the second half. P.S. we had some connection issues on the day so you'll notice a little bit of audio drop-out. But there's not much content in this that you'll barely notice.
