A little background on how this episode came to light: I felt that it was important to speak to a Jewish person on this topic and by the ways of the universe, Monday morning I had someone in my inbox tell me about a friend who'd be perfect to bring on. I was the one who offered to keep her identity anonymous if she wanted to, as I knew speaking on this perspective wouldn't be easy.
