How we look at things can make us avoid, dread or procrastinate on actions that would make us feel way better & help us reach our potential. So we continue to miss out, mentally & physically.
In this episode I help you reframe things so you things don’t feel dull. Avoiding these common things will help you feel a bit more excited, empowered & confident about where you are & where you are going.
We need to feel empowered in order to reach any big goal. Feeling empowered means not blaming anyone or anything else and instead reminding ourselves of a few home truths.
To lose weight we don’t have to find diets. We need to reduce the spikes in overeating, that keep us at a higher weight.
We put ourselves in situations that will always result in overeating or being out of control with food. Situations that people without weight problems would never put themselves in. In this episode I highlight the most common situation & cycle to avoid.

Letting go of weight means stopping ourselves from our self sabotage cycles.
Like weighing ourselves, which 9/10 times leads us to say “ you see nothing works, I’ll never change” which gives us an excuse to ignore physical cues & overeat & the self fulfilling prophecy cycle starts all over again.

Feeling shame isn’t you reacting to where you are. It’s you creating where you’re going to go next.
Everyone overeats or puts on weight from time to time but not everyone will react with shame & self loathing. Feeling shame is the opposite mode to reaching your potential. The aim of this episode is to help you notice your shame, stop it, reduce it so you can move forward quicker.

The more we overeat the less enjoyable food is as our pleasure centres & taste buds desensitise to deter us from eating. This means more “Meh” tasting foods & underwhelming food experiences.
The benefit of sorting out your eating isn’t just weight loss. It’s also so you can finally get the joy, comfort & pleasure that others get, that we’ve never experienced because of dieting & overeating.
Unlearning guilt is such a huge, huge part of letting go of weight & eating issues. Guilt always results in punishing & sabotaging behaviours with food, ensuring we stay at a higher weight.
