Hi, I’m Aoife — Registered Dietitian, MSc in Nutritional Medicine, and Clinical Hypnotherapist. I started dieting at 11, caught in a cycle of “good” foods, “bad” foods, guilt, and always starting again on Monday. It led to binge eating disorder and left me three stone overweight. I used to envy my slim friends who had a relaxed, healthy relationship with food. Now, I’m one of them. But in reality having rules means we spend more time breaking them and rebelling against them. This causes weight issues. In this episode I disuss how we retire rules and diets if favour of something more peaceful and effective in the long run.
