Respecting The Journey Ep 48

If you were to look back 10, 20, 30 years from now and write a story about your life, what would it look like? I'm sure it would be full of high highs, and low lows, happiness, tears, laughter...the list goes on. And I'm sure you would look back in fondness and not regret a thing because each part of that story made you exactly who you are. Now the question is, can you learn to embrace this journey as it's happening to you instead of once you've reached the destination?

In this episode, I get deep as we chat about learning to accept and embrace the highs and lows that come with working towards our goals and dreams. Being able to learn from the lows and celebrate the highs keeps us humble and grounded as we get to where we want to be.

Winter Solstice: Season of Change EP 41

Happy Winter Solstice Lovelies!

Like its summer counterpart, the solstice season is a time of great transition, reflection and manifestation.

With December in full swing, it can also be easy to feel overwhelmed or stressed with the busyness of the holiday season and forget to take care of what matters most – ourselves! Christmas parties at the office, holiday themed dinner parties, festive chocolates, cookies and sweets everywhere you turn, food court eats at the mall while you “shop till you drop”, a little extra rum in that nog, the Christmas dinner(s)… Yes, the potential of all of this squeezed into one month can be overwhelming for some but it does not have to be that way my friends.

In this episode, Fab discusses some of the key ways to stay grounded this holiday season and leverage times like the solstice to look inward, enjoy a little extra down time and really carve out some time to jot down those manifestations you have been putting off.

Why your entire cycle matters, period. With Guest, Dr. Chris Bjorndal EP 37

On this episode we welcome back Dr. Christina Bjorndal, ND to discuss why we should be paying more attention to our ENTIRE cycle and not just when the bleeding starts. As touched on in previous episodes with Dr. Chris, the 4 distinct phases of our Cycle all offer us different gifts and when nurtured, allow us to live a life full of vitality and vigor. In this episode we go in way deeper and explore:

  •  each distinct phase of our cycle
  • Our Estrogen vs. Progesterone and its correlation to our cycle
  • Fertility and how each distinct phase affects it
  • Why some women can get pregnant during their period (bleeding phase)
  • Understanding the 3 different types of Estrogen and how to balance them for health
  • How to nurture each phase of our cycle, helping us to live our lives in our fullest essence
  • And a whole lot more!

There is a lot to learn in this episode and it's not just for women; the more we all know about the beautiful seasons of a woman's cycle, the more understanding and care we can provide.
