Neila shares her powerful story of overcoming childhood trauma, suicidal struggles, and cultural stigmas that kept her pain buried for years. Born into poverty in Guyana, assaulted at a young age, and forced to leave school due to financial hardship, Neila’s life seemed destined for suffering. Yet, through resilience, self-education, and an unshakable will to break generational cycles, she transformed her pain into purpose.

This is not just a conversation—it’s a call to empowerment for anyone struggling with self-worth, generational wounds, or the feeling that their voice has been stolen. Neila’s mission is simple: to help others find their reason to live.

“I survived suicide for a reason, and now my purpose is to help others find theirs.”

Making better decisions and enjoying greater happiness with creative thinking with Dr. Andre Walton

At the core André is an inventor, somewhat of an anarchist (sorry, disruptor!), and a traveller. His belief in his inventions motivated him into entrepreneurship which funded travel and experiences almost beyond belief. When André sold his businesses, he continued his passion for traveling and absorbing foreign cultures - living and working in seven different countries, consulting for small businesses. In 2000 he went ‘back to school’ to earn a Ph.D. in Social Psychology with a focus on “Creativity in an Organizational Context”. In 2011 André published Embracing the New Era which examines creativity from a new perspective and explains many anomalies from why brainstorming doesn’t work to why creatives have a higher rate of psychological problems compared to others. André is now a life and executive/business coach and keynote speaker, lives in Reno and plays jazz flute, saxophone, piano and guitar, meditates and has a wonderful time with his grand kids.

Add a coach to your trauma healing toolbox

I grew up in the NY/NJ area as the oldest of the three children in my household, and experienced years of violent trauma as a child. Over the course of my life, I’ve since successfully overcome other forms of trauma (marital, medical, financial, and emotional) to arrive at this point.

My greatest accomplishment is having raised 3 beautiful, kind, confident and successful children into adulthood despite my past hurts. I’ve been blessed with a beautiful daughter-in-love, 2 precious grandsons and 3 adopted mixed breeds dogs. Out of gratitude, I am now committed to helping other women and mothers heal and thrive with intention & confidence!

Having lived for 20+ years in San Antonio, Texas, in 2020 (after fighting for my life during the height of the pandemic), I bravely chose to leave Texas and relocate to the DC/MD/VA area, where I now reside in PG County, Maryland.

Determined to overcome my own obstacles, I have evolved to live my most authentic and fulfilling life. Out of gratitude, I chose to follow a path to help others EVOLVE as well (and even got a tattoo to prove it). I know for certain that as you do the work to heal from past hurts and trauma, BREAK FREE from autopilot, and LIVE INTENTIONALLY, everyone can EVOLVE to having the UNSHAKEABLE CONFIDENCE to create the life they truly want!
