Ready for the most simple and fast technique you can use to save 30-60 minutes a day?
Well...then this 6 minute episode is going to make a big difference.
Now, let me warn you...
This is extremely easy.
You might not believe it can actually work to save you time.
That's fine...try it anyway for a week and I bet you'll change your mind.
See, as entrepreneurs, our brains are wired to see "Opportunity"...but when this isn't harnessed it also makes us susceptible to being extremely like Dug in the Pixar movie "Up."
"Squirrel"....
You know what I'm talking about...
I've probably been guilty of this more than most.
Thats why I sat down to figure out how to nip it in the bud...and this technique will take you 5-10 minutes each time you do it.
But it works...like...EVERY...TIME :)
Enjoy!
Today's a special episode.
After 32 episodes with wonderful guests, I decided to innovate a bit and do a "Brad only" episode.
Been a tough day and this episode is a "meta" example of me using this system after my previous plans fell through for this week's episode.
I had a lot of fun with this so I'm going to be doing a ton more of these in the future to create more episodes while still keeping the original goal of the show to chat with people who have "escaped the office."
Enjoy...and let me know what you think about this new format!
Listeners, you're in for a treat.
Tabitha is one of the neatest people I've ever worked with.
When we originally met, she helped me get acclimated into getting the stuff done I was in charge of. And she's shown me countless other cool tricks to speed up just about every piece of work that I do.
Now...what's crazy is...she does this while helping to run 2 businesses, run training webinars, raising kids, and still carving out time for herself.
It's impressive...and in this episode she shares how she pulls it off.
She's one of the most fun people to work with as well as one of the most productive.
If you're someone who wants to build a great life without sacrificing quality time with those you love then Tabitha's way of doing stuff will have a lot of appeal.
It's helped me so much to be better at what I do!
Enjoy!
What a fun episode this one was.
The way we met was cool. Past guest Ron Douglas introduced Paul and I after one of my other close friends said "Brad you gotta know Paul."
He sure didn't disappoint.
What you'll get inside this episode is a fun journey of ups and downs...and then back "up" big time. Paul's timeless advice in this episode delivered with a funny demeanor was a lot of fun.
If you're someone who sells stuff...whether as an affiliate or a business owner...the principles in this episode will serve you well.
Enjoy!
What a fun episode.
My buddy Stephen Somers introduced me to Rupert earlier in the year. Rupert was one of their best students who built an amazing business all the way down in South Africa.
After chatting with Stephen a bit, he said "you should have him on the show. He is wonderful and you'll love his story."
Well, Rupert didn't disappoint. This was a really fun chat and the first with a South African guest :).
Enjoy!
Let's start Season 3 off with a bang.
Stefan is one of the most successful guys I know. He started out on the skids...and used copywriting to build himself a mini empire over the last 7-8 years. Through tough times and good times...and from a great childhood being a bit on the nerdy side...he's carved out a community, businesses, and a skillset that allow him to create any projects he wants and help others to do the same.
This episode was a lot of fun. We're about the same age and it's always cool to see people doing neat things while still raising a family.
Enjoy!
What a fun episode.
Brian and I have been friends for years. And he's gone through so many transformations over the years but one of the big things he's always been is...consistent.
Consistently growing his skills.
Consistently producing and learning.
From the days I first met him when he taught affiliate marketing with SEO to publishing best-selling books to building a gigantic following on Youtube, Brian's always been himself. And one of the most fun people I've ever met.
If you love unique guests...then you're in for a treat. This is a gem :)
This episode was one of the more unique ones I've ever done.
Nina and I were connected by a mutual friend and hit it off immediately. She shared with me how she built a business through a really creative use of licensing then once Covid hit, she converted to helping other business owners and experts turn their expertise into scalable intellectual property.
This is a REALLY neat concept and hard for me to put into words.
Either way, you'll see Nina and I jam. She is one of the most high energy, fun, and inspiring people I've had on the show and you'll love this episode!
One of Josh's first podcast episodes!
This one was fun. Josh has been a buddy of mine almost the last decade. Years ago, one of our launches was one of his first affiliate promotions and a friendship was born. Him and I have worked together off and on but one thing I've always noticed is Josh is putting in the work, staying consistent, and has slowly but surely built up a software empire by working smart and staying consistent.
As a child of immigrants to this great country of ours, Josh's story IS the American dream. He's built a software company and his older brother is a pediatric surgeon. They represent all the possibility in America starting out pretty poor and rising up through hard work and doing right by people.
You'll love this episode. Josh is exceptionally humble and you'll know why after listening to his story!
Enjoy!
This episode is a unique one for the show.
Roland is someone who I've modeled my business around for the last half decade since I came across him.
This interview took me YEARS to get the courage to ask for.
Now, I titled this interview a bit differently than normal. See, Roland said something to me in this that really opened my eyes (as if that were possible because he's done that a few times already).
"Once you realize you can make money doing anything..."
After that...I just got so comfortable in this chat. All my nervousness disappeared.
Why?
Because I realized at the deepest level, Roland is an adventurer. From getting a real estate license at 18 to consulting with dozens of companies to his infamous "I'm not on any company's org chart" system, he is still the same guy who saw what was possible early on.
After seeing his dad work with clients and realizing early on that there's an unlimited number of ways to make a living, he decided the creative dealmaking life was for him.
I admit, I'm a little bit of a fanboy on this interview. Sorry not sorry.
After listening, you'll see why...Roland is not only as sharp as they come. He is someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes opportunity. And he's a gentleman.
Funny story, when I asked him to record, he agreed immediately upon receiving the message. And then scheduled immediately. As a few friends told me, he is friendly, courteous, and ever the gentleman.
This was fun.
Enjoy!
Want to grow a great business?
Have a great marriage?
We all do. And that's the "curse" of being someone who is an achiever. Because you want it, you often will feel like "I'm not doing enough." Once this sets in though, it can often prevent you from achieving everything you want.
On today's episode, Erin and I dive into this. Her work at Mindfix is incredible. But it's all based on something I like to call "The Art of Subtraction."
Most people add and add and add to their plate to the point where it all falls apart. They repeat this cycle over and over because our culture is built around a ravenous desire to acquire.
But to be a true achiever, mastering the art of subtraction is key.
And in this episode, you'll find out out how.
Enjoy!
What a fun episode.
Brad's been one of my long time buddies for the last decade. And boy does he have a story.
After getting in trouble in school and "being asked to leave," Brad's build a career at the cutting edge of the internet. From working in a call center to build sales skills to building an "entertainment empire" in the adult space to currently having 100's of thousands of followers on Tik Tok, Brad's got an uncanny way of reading the market.
He finds ways to leverage massive audiences on every relevant platform of the day. He can do this because he beats to his own drum. Not only is he hilarious and politically incorrect, he's got a vision of where things are going and how to parlay a small advantage into almost unlimited amounts of visitors.
You've never met anyone like Brad, I promise you that.
But he's a loyal friend and someone who has one of the most interesting stories around. You'll enjoy this and hopefully will laugh your ass off like I did :)
Enjoy
This episode was a LOT of fun.
Mike's someone I've known the last few years who is not only a talented copywriter (and strategist) for businesses but someone who has an extremely sharp wit that's just downright hilarious. He also puts the "A" in authentic.
Seeing his rise from working in technical writing (why? "Because I loved reading about new technology") to building a copywriting business and moving from Ohio to build a great life in San Diego, you'll see the journey of a man who's not only serious about his craft but also doesn't take himself too seriously.
He is just...Mike. And his clients love that about him.
It also makes him great at his craft. He has more empathy for the average person than most will ever know and this allows him to write copy that converts much higher than other people because...he "gets" REAL people.
Their pains, frustrations, dreams, and desires.
If you want to grow a business, this episode and Mike's journey will pepper you with gems that will change how you speak to your audience forever.
Enjoy
Want to know who I want to be when I grow up?
Well Kevin Thompson is as close as a person gets. He's one of the most well connected people I've ever met. But what's funny about all this is that he's also one of the most humble and kind people you'll come across.
Needless to say, you won't hear a bad word said about Kevin.
And as you'll see inside this episode, it comes from a strong foundation of giving. Kevin is a true "Go Giver" and has been one of the neatest people I've met the last few years.
From the beginning, Kevin figured out how to parlay his connections in every venture he did.
Things changed big time over and over again, but through it all, Kevin persevered and has built multiple businesses as well as one of the strongest "connection group on steroids" called Tribe for Leaders.
If you're someone who loves people and wants to see how a true Jedi Master builds friendships between people by giving first, asking rarely, and overall creating one of the most fun experiences around, then this episode is a real treat.
I love Kevin. He's one of my favorite humans and I hope to build a network as rich and full of wonderful people as he has.
Enjoy!
Boy are you in for a special one today.
This episode is a GEM. Robert and I have been friends for the better part of the last decade and from the moment we met, he's been sharing resources with me that NO ONE else is talking about.
And it all goes back to a tough upbringing and having to create resources to enjoy nicer things in school.
From the get go, Robert shares a wealth of resources, laughs, and his infamous resourcefulness in ways that few people do.
He mentions a specific resource you can use at your local library to get all the leads you could ever need. I went to my library to check into it and sure enough...its even better than he explained!
Needless to say, this was a fun episode. It's one of the longest we've had because Robert shares so much useful stuff. My head was SPINNING with ideas after I got off and thankfully, recorded this on a Friday because I might've taken the rest of the week off to build the stuff we discussed.
This is an INSTANT classic OFE episode and I'm so happy to share it with you.
Robert is truly a gentleman and is one of the people I consider one of the kindest, smartest, and generous people I've ever come across.
Enjoy!
This episode is a special one for me. I've looked up to Ron for years. He has done what I wanted to do when I started online.
Thankfully, when I asked him to record, he was a "heck yea" in the only way Ron can be. Ron's one of the smartest and funniest people I've ever come across and he just looks at things differently. He doesn't over think stuff and has one of the most creative minds at coming up with new ideas to build online businesses. He consistently uses webinars, courses, and list building to grow year in and year out.
All the while, he's poured his business profits into a real estate portfolio that takes care of his family and all of their living expenses. This was his goal 20 years before that and year after year (with many bumps along the way), he accomplished what he set out to do.
And in this very special episode, he shares that story...
Enjoy!
Well this episode was...different.
In a good way....
A friend of mine reached out and told me about Andrew who she was working with as a podcast guest booker. And I was SUPER skeptical at first but said..."what the heck he seems cool I'll have him on." I sat down to read his book and I was pretty blown away.
And that's putting it mildly.
Andrew is just "different." Whereas a lot of Law of Attraction folks are very intangible, Andrew is extremely pragmatic and tactical. With a background in marketing, he knew that sharing the "woo woo" stuff would put off a lot of people. So he wrote a book for all of us (including me) who don't necessarily believe in the Law of Attraction...to "get it." And it works.
Since reading this book, I've changed a lot of stuff around. Lot of it is inner mindset type of stuff and shifting my point of view on things.
It's paid off in extra revenue for my business in only a couple of months. And the funny thing about his teaching (and this is all laid out very practically and simply in the book) is that he focuses on helping you to see what's already there.
It's hard to explain in words...but enjoy this episode because you'll see someone who cares, who's stuff works, and who explains things in a way the most non "woo woo" type of person will get value out of.
Enjoy!
This episode is a gem. David has been one of my best friends for most of the last decade. We met when he struggled. And he shared a lot of the backstory behind what happened leading up to that hard patch. Really cool to see how someone can rise, fall, rise again, then have a health scare, and then come back stronger than ever.
If you love stories of resilience, then this is for you. This episode reminded me why I love the game of business and playing the "long game." It's so easy to get caught up in the here and now without seeing what path you're on. After listening to David share his story leading up to starting a family, working on projects he loves, and having a team run and operate his advertising agency, you'll likely see countless ways you can simplify your business and cut your stress.
Enjoy!
This episode was a really fun one. Jeff and I have been friends for a couple of years now and instantly hit it off. He built and sold a giant operation in the wedding planning space on top of being the classic "inventor on steroids" that we all mythologize in business.
Jeff really did build things in his garage. He's built and sold companies successfully and as he'll share with you, failed countless times as well.
If you've ever wanted to found a business that makes a huge dent in the world, Jeff is someone to listen to. With an infectious sense of humor and a mind that's as creative as it is focused on execution, then you'll love this episode.
We talked a LOT of mindset and direct response and how things all tie together. Turns out, being that innovative mind is a mix of timing, idea, and most of all, execution.
Enjoy!
This episode is going to be a treat. If you've ever wanted to build an agency then this is a must listen.
Frankie and I met through our time working with Travis Sago. When we met, we hit it off real quick. Frankie sent me his book and said "hey dude, give this a read. I think you'll enjoy it." And sure enough, I did.
What's neat about Frankie and what he shares in this episode is that he didn't start out with a lot of advantages. However, through an exceptionally resourceful attitude and vision and hard work, he's built countless businesses. At one point, he decided traveling was what they wanted to do.
Now, after living in Europe for a few years while raising a young family, Frankie and his family moved to Mexico for the laid back lifestyle and ease of doing business.
If you've ever wanted to travel and build a business that works FOR you not AGAINST you like so many people do, this episode will show you what it's like and give you a lot of resources on how to do it.
Enjoy!
