Letting Go of Guilt: Embracing Imperfect ParentingI dive into the idea that 'doing less is more' for us moms. We often feel overwhelmed by doing every little thing for our kids, and I share my personal struggle with this. I talk about the guilt of not doing everything and the pressure from social media to parent perfectly.
Instead, I focus on helping my kids become independent in age-appropriate ways, setting boundaries, and not worrying about being judged. And what reconnecting with our kids in meaningful ways can look like. Also explore the importance of embracing our individual family's values and finding joy in the moment.
Don't miss out on joining the reset on May 12th to focus on yourself and reset your parenting approach.
Let's embrace imperfection together!

I had planned a different topic today but decided last minute to share a personal reflection now that we're back from our trip to LA for my kids spring break!
This trip was more of a reset than any other travel planned because I focused on doing LESS. But intentionally baking in one non negotiable ME thing per day. I embraced spontaneity, moving slowly and going with the flow. And doing it without the guilt of taking time for myself!
I talk about how doing less and focusing on meaningful connections can truly refresh you, especially when dealing with infertility or the chaos of our everyday lives.
It's how I made huge jumps in my own family building journey and continue to find courage to take leaps in my career these days. I truly value connection with others because when we feel less alone and supported, we have the strength to embrace our present and welcome in future possibilities 💖

This is part one of a 5 part mini series where I want to get real with you. Where we’re no longer going to play small. We’re going to take back control over our lives and BE in the present moment.
Waiting to live your life until you have the baby in your arms puts way too much pressure on the whole thing! As if you’re telling yourself you need to be suffering and in pain the until then. Yes, having our babies in our arms is SO magical – you had no idea how you could expand your heart to love even more.
But remember, let’s not put all this pressure on this little baby to bring you happiness and joy.
We want to cultivate that for ourselves so in the hard times, we can trust that we know how to support ourselves (even if that means having a support system behind you that knows you and you can easily rely on them)
Also, you deserve to feel loved and supported and if bringing that spark back by participating in my Reset Week is what can take off the pressure on you to do it alone, join now to be part of the live round for free coaching on starting April 14!

Don't think you're cut out to be a mom because infertility makes you feel like a hot mess all the time? Then it's time for you to pause and RESET.
Because the truth? Life with infertility and kiddos will always feel like a hot mess. There won't be a perfect time where everything will be serene and perfect. There will always be something.
But the reset is what helps you do the hardest thing on your infertility journey - accept and embrace where you are. Try to make peace with it by prioritizing yourself, your joy and rest so you can access the badass in yourself to OWN the hot mess and move through it anyway. To carve your own path to motherhood that feels damn good to YOU.

Even if you've thought about adoption as an option to grow your family, how do you actually know when it's time to explore that path? To move on and commit to that route?
I share how I knew when I was ready to pursue adoption in this episode because I know first hand how conflicting it feels to want to experience pregnancy and carry your children but feel so depleted from infertility consuming you mentally and physically.
It's hard to know when enough is enough but I share how changing my mindset about the big picture on how to grow your family when infertility is in the mix and that's how we went from infertility and possibility of no kids to 4 kids through adoption and IVF/surrogacy.

This is the last of my 5-part mini-series on debunking myths about motherhood and life after infertility. I talk about the misconception that moms feel like it's their duty to only return to their interests once things 'calm down'. It's so important to refocus on being present and prioritizing yourself amidst chaos so you can show up for your family they way you want.
And that starts with figuring out how to make choosing you without the shame and guilt and prioritizing what you need when you're navigating infertility well into motherhood 🤎

Today I tackle myth number 4: 'Motherhood is my purpose, I shouldn't need anything else.' We explore the idea that motherhood is a role rather than an entire identity and discuss the importance of pursuing personal dreams, passions, and joy outside of being a mom. The impact of infertility, identity crises, and the journey to and through motherhood is one mom's dismiss. I am guilty of it too -- tabling self-fulfillment beyond parenthood.
This episode emphasizes how finding personal joy and purpose can enhance your relationships with your partner and kids. If you're listening then I personally invite you join the LIVE round of the Reset Week starting on March 10th, designed to help moms like you reconnect with yourself while nurturing your relationships.
