Ep 411 Tony Mowbray - Author Never, Ever Give In, Solo World Sailor, Adventurer
Dream.Think.Talk.Commit. This is Tony Mowbray's formula for Thinking Big and achieving Possibilities. Tony has sailed singlehanded around the world, circumnavigated Australia, done numerous Sydney-Hobart races and numerous other long-distance sailing events.
He is a frequent visitor to the Antarctic by yacht.
Tony is also a man of action. In this podcast, we discuss how Tony, from a non sailing family, got involved in sailing at a young age, the power of mentors and people who believe in you, balancing passions with family life and so much more.

We also discuss in depth his experience in the ill-fated 1998 Sydney-Hobart yacht race, where he and his crew came close to losing their lives. It is the most compelling account of that race I have read and I have read a lot about that race.
His lessons here on decision making, leadership, and his crews will to live and survive despite injury and a formidable opponent in the ocean is compelling, and we discuss this in depth.

Tony's new book, "Never, Ever Give In" is a must read for anyone wanting to do things that seem impossible at first. He truly embraces the mindset, skillset and toolset concept I talk about to accomplish incredible things.
You can order Tony's book (20 plus years in the making) and find out more about Tony at https://www.tonymowbray.com.au/ and connect with him on LinkedIn.
Tony is also a fabulous speaker, so consider having him along to your next corporate event.

Ep 408 Matthew Lumsden - Author of Shibui, The Persimmon Principles
Matthew Lumsden is my special guest on this August 2025 It's All Possible Podcast. Matthew a lawyer by profession is the author of "Shibui, The Persimmon Principles" his book on the Japanese Culture of Shibui. Matthew and I met during his days as a global leader at the Australian arm of global investment firm Vanguard and we have stayed connected ever since.
Matthew has been passionate about Japanese culture and their way of life for many years which led him during his high school years to spend time living with a Japanese family as part of an exhange program and later working in Japan.
In typical Matthew style, he spent time back in Japan recently researching for this incredible book, Shibui.
Matthew is a person of possibility through and through. This means he is human and on his way to discovering his purpose he pushed the limit career wise which ended up in burn out and the internal conversation of "am I living my true purpose". It was this burn out that led to the breakthrough of Matthew going back to his passions and writing the book Shibui.
In this podcast Matthew opens up about how he has used the concepts of Shibui to shape his personal and business life. He also openly discusses his journey to burn out and how we can fall into the traps of a driven life and what to do to ensure we come out of it in a better position.
We then discuss the essential elements of Shibui which are Simplicity, Subtlety, Impermanence and Imperfection and how they can be applied to our personal and business lives.
I hope you enjoy Matthew and the concepts of Shibui. Shibui is available online and at all good bookshops and Matthew can be found on LinkedIn , Instagram and Tik Tok and at https://www.shibuiadvisory.com/

Ep 312 Rob Hartnett - From Potential to Performance with the 6-3-8 Framework
For over 20 years, I have immersed myself in studying and practicing the habits of successful individuals across various fields—business, entertainment, sports, and technology. These are not just areas of interest for me; they are where I have built my career and passion. Since launching my book, "It's All Possible," in 2020, I’ve continued my journey of growth—digging deep into the insights that fuel high achievers.

This exploration has culminated in the creation of the 6-3-8 Framework, which encompasses six powerful principles, three effective strategies, and eight essential practices shared by successful people. While the concepts are straightforward and easy to grasp, the real mastery lies in the details. In Episode 311, I detailed the six principles and three strategies, supported by compelling case studies and examples.

Now, in Episode 312, I’m excited to unveil the eight practices encapsulated in the CHAMPION acronym. The 6-3-8 Framework will be the cornerstone of my upcoming book, which will guide readers on how to transform potential into outstanding performance—something that may seem simple to say but is undeniably challenging to execute.

I am confident that this practical 6-3-8 framework will empower those looking to achieve their goals, dreams, and aspirations more rapidly—all while enjoying the journey (Principle 6).

Ep 311 Rob Hartnett - The Six Principles of People of Possibility
For over 20 years I have pursued possibility. I have asked the question "what is truly possible for us in this life we have been gifted?"
Why do some people have a fixed mindset, others a growth mindset and for an even smaller group a possibility mindset?
My research (me - search?) led me to write the book "It's All Possible" and from there I have refined my thinking even more and landed on the "Super Six" principles that People of Possibility abide by.
People from business, entertainment, politics, music, sport all these people of possibility have these 6 principles.
From Arnold to Selena Gomez, to Mark Cuban to Bradley Cooper to Alisa Camplin.
In this podcast I talk about what a possibility mindset is and how it differs from the all important growth mindset. I reveal the six principles and the three overarching strategies they use to implement a possibility mindset.
The next podcast will reveal and discuss the 8 practices of people of possibility in how they bring the super six to fruition. So please subscribe so you get this next one first.

Ep 309 Donnie Boivin Founder & Creator Success Champions Network
I am super excited this episode to bring you the "force of action" we all need in the wonderful Donnie Boivin. Donnie is a Marine Corps Veteran and a 20 year sales guy who got tired of living other people's dreams and making them wealthy (sound familiar) So what did he do?
He took the biggest risk in his life and opened up his own business, Success Champions......and ran it straight into the ground learning very quickly that being a sales guru does not always translate to business success. Fortunately, he found podcasting, launched Success Champions podcast and interviewed hundreds of influencers in business, learning how to be a CEO instead of an employee. Not only did he turn Success Champions around and build it into a profitable international business, he also created the Badass Business Summit for aspiring entrepreneurs and leaders to inspire and educate them to avoid his journey. Donnie is on a mission to change how the world networks (a yeh from me!) fixing everything business owners hate about networking and teaching business owners all the secrets to growing a thriving business they love.
