Remember, you are most qualified to help the person you used to be. Your past does not disqualify you from being the person God called you to be.
Today we discuss the work before the work. What that means is most people are not ready for change. They aren't ready to do what's necessary to facilitate change because they haven't done the mental, emotional, or spiritual work to set them up for success. These people are destined to fail and then blame the coach, trainer, or other professional they've hired to help.
A good coach can see what you can't. They can see what needs to be done before the work starts. If you're going to get a guide, be ready and willing to FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.
When you start living the life you've been called to live, and being the man God called you to be, you will get attacked. The enemy only attacks what's valuable. Thieves don't break into empty houses. People will always remember an old version of you. When it happens, don't get sucked back in to the drama, the places you worked to get out of, and the person you used to be. Understand it for what it is, and keep moving forward!
It's halftime of 2025. If you want to win the second half, there are specific things you can do. Set yourself up for success by making sure you take the time to do 3 things. 1. Assess 2. Adjust 3. Take Action. This is your halftime locker room speech!
