Before you say this thing in your life isn’t working, can’t happen, or won’t happen, ask yourself this:
Have you envisioned it going well?
Have you embodied the energy of the success of it?
Have you only thought good thoughts about it and banished your doubts?
If not, you cannot say with 100% certainty that it cannot happen for you, that it cannot work out, because in truth my dear, you haven’t done the energetic work yet, which is the most important part.
Don’t give up on yourself and what you truly want just yet lovely. Try this first.
The things that have worked out so far in your life all have one thing in common, you have thought good thoughts about them, you have pictured them going well in your mind, you hold pure and positive energy about them. Maybe you didn’t do this on purpose, perhaps you didn’t even realize you had been doing this, but the fact remains, the things have worked out in your life, your energy has lined up with them as well.
The things that haven’t panned out for you yet, it’s been a different story. You’ve not lined up your energy, your thoughts and your beliefs yet. You might say, well I’ll think positively about it once it happens, but it doesn’t work like that. Until you clear the path figuratively (with your energy),and literally (with your neural pathways), what you want can’t happen, or it can’t unfold smoothly.
But once you do line up your thoughts, energy and beliefs, what you want can come in. You can have a smooth experience, and most importantly, you can have that peaceful and blissful feeling of success that you want (whatever that looks like for you).
So, how do you do the energetic work?
You visualize it in your mind.
You live it in your mind before you live it in the physical.
You see it going well in your mind’s eye, you feel the overall feeling of it going well in your body, you only see it and feeling going well. Period.

The biggest mistake we can make is placing all of our focus and energy into reacting to the external world, and looking to it to as a source for what we want and need.
This is the biggest flawed premise most people live by (my past self included!), looking and reaching outside of themselves to feel satisfied, whole, or fulfilled. When all of this substance actually stems from within us. We are our own source of everything that we have mistakenly looking for on the outside.
The external is just a mirror. It only reflects from our true source, which is ourselves. Neville Goddard said, getting upset with the external reality is akin to being upset with your reflection in the mirror when it is frowning. It is only frowning because you are.
If you want it to smile, you have to smile first.

You pretend you are already living that reality.
What happens next is unreal. You start to feel it’s true.
You start to move like that version of you. Think like that version of you, and feel like that version of you.
Guess what happens next?

This is because your subconscious sees what plays in your imagination as fact, as already true, already real.
When this feeling becomes natural, from repetition and invoked emotion, our subconscious starts to believe it’s true, and thus we incorporate this new feeling into our self concept.

If you have been working on reaching a goal or manifesting a particular outcome, this process is for you. We can take as much outward action as we want, however, until our internal environment lines up with the outward outcome, we will not be able to entirely reach our finish line, or if we do get there through struggle and might, we likely will not be able to maintain the change for very long (you may have noticed how challenges or diets don't create lasting change).
