You are allowed to take a break from healing.
Healing is a necessary part of growth, however it’s possible to be doing too much healing work. When you become hyper-focused on working through traumas, you will burn yourself out. Rest is equally as important as the work you do for healing. Take a pit stop on the journey. You are allowed to do that. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. Join me as I discuss the importance of taking a break in your healing journey and what that looks like. Tune in! If you enjoyed this episode, follow the show for more and please leave me a rate/review! Thank you for sharing space with me. I'm sending you love and light on your healing journeys. 🤎

Hyper-independence is a trauma response.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but hyper-independence is a result of trauma. Your “I don’t need anyone; I can’t depend on anyone; I have to do everything myself” really means your needs may not have been met and people have failed you, so as a response, you’ve learned to be your own support. You do need people and you don’t have to do everything by yourself. Tune in to this episode as I discuss hyper-independence, some signs and how we can overcome it.  If you enjoyed this episode, follow the show for more and please leave me a rate/review! Self-care is a necessity: Embracing radical self-care.

You will never be wrong for putting yourself first or prioritizing your needs. We are so used to overextending, that actually choosing ourselves and putting our needs first feels like we are doing something wrong. Let’s move away from that. Release that. You are deserving of radical self-care. Allow it. Join me as I expand on radical self-care, what this looks like and why this is needed for everyone.

The year of new beginnings.
Reflection of the previous year, gratitude for the lessons learned, and excitement for the blessings to come. The main lessons I’m taking with me into this new season are 1) choose yourself, 2) it’s okay to walk away from people/situations that are no longer serving you, and 3) listen to yourself the first time. 2023 is the year for community healing. We are going to continue elevating this season, together.  If you enjoyed this episode, follow the show for more and please leave me a rate/review! Thank you for sharing space with me.
