3. So it turns out carbs aren’t evil!?: Shifting mindsets around food.

The mission: food freedom, intuitive eating and ice cream.

Eloise Viola speaks to a dietician who reveals mind-blowing information about food and nutrition. Perhaps we’ve always thought about food in terms of “what's the least gross thing I can eat that has the lowest calories”? Perhaps there has always been a push and pull with wanting to eat glorious food, but also wanting to reduce our calorie intake.

In this episode Eloise focuses on arming ourselves with information to be able to make more informed decisions about what is best for US and OUR INDIVIDUAL BODIES, and how we can flip our mindset to welcome and enjoy our relationship with food.

2. The Anti-Bullsh*t Toolkit: Learning to be online and how to love your body.

I’m calling BOLL**KS!!! And you should too.

In this episode, Eloise Viola focuses on the solution. By speaking to experts in the field, Eloise explores strategies, ideas and insights into how we can rebuild our relationship with our body image and how we look. What can we actually do to help build a toolbox of resilience so that we can protect our self-esteem (and apple pay) when we’re online, but also offline: how can we learn to accept and maybe even learn to love ourselves and our bodies?

Glasshouse: Laid Bare by Eloise Viola
1. No one is born hating their body: the social media problem.

I’m 29. I first learnt to hate my body because of trashy magazines focusing on celebrities ‘orange peel’, airbrushing, Instagram’s heavily edited photos and my lack of thigh gap. But now it’s changed. The algorithms now promote video content and we’re being taught to hate ourselves because of a whole new plethora of unachievable standards: abs, face balancing, glass skin etc.; each week a new trend.

Eloise Viola speaks to experts in the field including an eating disorder specialist, dietician and celebrity red carpet stylist to really define what the problem is, so that we can learn how to combat it, rather than put down our phones after scrolling and decide we’re dropping all our savings on a lip flip and fat freezing.
