Story Transcript:

Cy: Yn nhywyllwch cynnar hydref, lle illw eto’r hen goetir enfawr o’r Bannau Brycheiniog, cerddodd Gareth gyda’i gyfeillion, Eira a Rhys.
En: In the early autumn darkness, where the great old forest of the Bannau Brycheiniog still lay, Gareth walked with his friends, Eira and Rhys.

Cy: Lliwiau’r coed, cochni a rhuddfath, yn cwmpasu popeth o amgylch fel darlun byw.
En: The colors of the trees, crimson and russet, enveloped everything around like a living painting.

Cy: Roedd awyrgylch Samhain yn drwchus, ymwthiol, a'r daith yn un o ymdrech a chwilfrydedd.
En: The atmosphere of Samhain was thick, intrusive, and the journey was one of effort and curiosity.

Cy: Roedd Gareth wedi dechrau’r daith hon i ffindio heddwch ysbrydol.
En: Gareth had embarked on this journey to find spiritual peace.

Cy: Gafaelodd am hen gân, “Daw y nos a’r tân, eto daw addewid.”
En: He grasped an old song, “The night and the fire come, and so does promise.”

Cy: Cafodd ddigon o amser i feddwl yn y gorffennol, a bellach roedd eisiau rhywbeth newydd—dealltwriaeth gynnar, dirder yn troi'n dawelwch.
En: He’d had enough time to dwell in the past, and now he wanted something new—an early understanding, with disquiet turning into calm.

Cy: Wrth iddynt drin llwybrau coetiroedd dwys, roedd Gareth yn teimlo pwysau rhyfedd.
En: As they navigated through the dense forest paths, Gareth felt a strange weight.

Cy: Roedd y dail, yn drwch o dan draed, wedi cuddio araith y llwybrau.
En: The leaves, thick beneath their feet, had hidden the speech of the trails.

Cy: Fel cawod o ddail mewn storm o lygaid, collodd ef ei ffordd.
En: Like a shower of leaves in a storm of eyes, he lost his way.

Cy: Dim llwybr, dim cymorth.
En: No path, no help.

Cy: Yn ei galon, roedd ofn yn pylu, traitredig fel cysgod dan goeden.
En: In his heart, fear was fading, treacherous like a shadow under a tree.

Cy: "Nid yw popeth colledig, Gareth," meddai Eira yn ddifrifol.
En: "Not all is lost, Gareth," said Eira seriously.

Cy: "Gwranda ar yr hyn sy'n galw o ddyfnder."
En: "Listen to what calls from the depths."

Cy: "Dyna'r cyngor," cytunodd Rhys, cynnyrch duwies y goedwig.
En: "That's the advice," agreed Rhys, the product of the forest goddess.

Cy: "Gwranda ar yr afon."
En: "Listen to the river."

Cy: Dywedodd Gareth ddim, ond canolbwyntiodd, rwystro ei ofn a rhoi ei gymlau i’r profiad.
En: Gareth said nothing but focused, blocking his fear and surrendering to the experience.

Cy: O fwy o fwriad, daeth rhyw ddwysder newydd i’w weddill.
En: With more intention, a new intensity came to his senses.

Cy: Gwrandawodd am sain cyfarwydd, ac o’r diwedd, clywodd—hyd o ffynnon oer, neis yn aberth.
En: He listened for a familiar sound, and finally, he heard it—a stretch of cold, refreshing spring water.

Cy: Araf wibiodd drwy dderw a bedwen, nes, yn sydyn, ymdroellodd y coetir tuag at agorfa.
En: Slowly, he wove through oak and birch until, suddenly, the forest veered towards an opening.

Cy: Yno, seafodd ystod syfrdanol o’r ddol ac, yn bell, ffonc y tonnau bach.
En: There stood a stunning view of the meadow and, in the distance, the flicker of small waves.

Cy: Golau addewid fel melfed poeth o’r machlud yn lliwio’r wynt.
En: A light of promise like warm velvet from the sunset colored the wind.

Cy: Daeth heddwch...

Story Transcript:

Cy: Ym Mharc Cenedlaethol Eryri, roedd y coed tal yn cysgodi Gwen, Emrys, a Carys fel pe bai'n gwarchodwyr hynafol.
En: In Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri, the tall trees sheltered Gwen, Emrys, and Carys as if they were ancient guardians.

Cy: Roedd y dydd yn felys, yr aer yn crisp, ac arogl pinwydd yn amseru.
En: The day was sweet, the air crisp, and the scent of pine lingered.

Cy: Tra'n dianc rhag sŵn y ddinas, roedd Gwen mewn penbleth dwfn ynghylch ei dyfodol.
En: While escaping the noise of the city, Gwen was in deep contemplation about her future.

Cy: Roedd swydd newydd ei thrin, un sydd yn ei alw dramor, ond roedden nhw'n taro stryd enfawr o ansicrwydd.
En: A new job was being offered to her, one that called her abroad, but they had hit a vast boulevard of uncertainty.

Cy: Doedd hi ddim yn gwybod a ddylai hi adael ei swydd bresennol neu mentro i'r dieithr.
En: She didn't know whether to leave her current job or venture into the unknown.

Cy: Emrys a Carys oedd ei chefnogaeth.
En: Emrys and Carys were her support.

Cy: "Bydd eiwydd di'n gwadu'r cyfle?" meddai Carys tra cerddent drwy'r dail melyn ac euraidd yn sblasio dan ei thraed.
En: "Will you deny yourself the opportunity?" said Carys as they walked through the yellow and golden leaves splashing underfoot.

Cy: "Mae'n un cyfle byth mewn oes," ychwanegodd Emrys, yn ei annog i fentro i'r antur.
En: "It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," added Emrys, encouraging her to embark on the adventure.

Cy: Ond roedd Gwen yn gwybod nad am y cyfle yn unig oedd y peth; ei chalon, ei hunaniaeth oedd hefyd yn ei drysu.
En: But Gwen knew it wasn't just about the opportunity; her heart, her identity was also bewildered.

Cy: Daethant i ysgall llwybrau croesfan o fewn y goedwig.
En: They came to a crossroad within the forest.

Cy: Roedd y llwybr yn rhannu, un llwybr cul yn teithio i godi, a'r llall yn gostwng i ddwfn i waelod y goedwig.
En: The path split, one narrow path rising, and the other descending deep into the forest.

Cy: "Boot mwy o amser," meddai Gwen yn ddiamweb.
En: "Need more time," Gwen said unassumingly.

Cy: "Byddaf yn cymryd y llwybr cul ar ben fy hunan. Angen meddwl. Byddaf yn ymuno â chi eto."
En: "I'll take the narrow path alone. I need to think. I'll join you again."

Cy: Gan aralleirio Gwen arllwysiad Emrys a Carys ymlaenedau, a hithau'n crwydro ar y llwybr cul, arall bron, yn codi'n barod uwchben y coed oedd yn cloi'r sêt honedig.
En: While Emrys and Carys moved onward, Gwen wandered on the almost alternative narrow path, climbing ready above the trees that closed off the alleged seat.

Cy: Ar ben draw, estynnai'r goedwig batren drosgynnol, y dail yn blodeuo â chrymder, lliwiau'r hydref fel peintiad sy'n byw a phuer.
En: At its far end, the forest stretched transcendently, the leaves blooming with intensity, the autumn hues like a living and pure painting.

Cy: Eisteddodd Gwen ar graig, gwylio'r byd yn troi mewn i rywbeth mor heddychlon a rhamantus.
En: Gwen sat on a rock, watching the world turn into something so peaceful and romantic.

Cy: Ac yn y tawelwch hwn, gwelodd ei gwir beryglon.
En: And in this silence, she saw her true dilemmas.

Cy: Ei theulu, ei ffrindiau, a'r dirweddau a'i tyfodd.
En: Her family, her friends, and the landscapes that had nurtured her.

Cy: Yma, cyffyrddodd â'r gwir fynyddol: er bod y byd yn cynnig...

Cy: Mynedfa i'r antur oedd hi, ar fore o Hydref yn y Beacons Brycheiniog.
En: The entrance to an adventure it was, on an October morning in the Beacons Brycheiniog.

Cy: Roedd y dail yn cochi o gwmpas Eira, Rhydian, a Gethin.
En: The leaves were reddening around Eira, Rhydian, and Gethin.

Cy: Dechreuon nhw eu taith i fyny Pen y Fan gyda gwenu mawr a'r gwynt yn gwichian yn eu clustiau.
En: They began their journey up Pen y Fan with big smiles and the wind squeaking in their ears.

Cy: Eira edrychodd ar yr awyr las, yn geisio heddwch ym meddwl a'r galon.
En: Eira looked at the blue sky, seeking peace in her mind and heart.

Cy: Roedd y swydd yn y ddinas yn mawr bennu arni, ond roedd peintio yn canu alaw bell.
En: The job in the city was weighing heavily on her, but painting was singing a distant melody.

Cy: "Mae’n bryd i wneud penderfyniad," meddai wrthi’i hun.
En: "It's time to make a decision," she said to herself.

Cy: Rhydian, er mor lawen yr olwg, cerddai gyda'i ysgwyddau wedi'u godro o boen emosiynol.
En: Rhydian, though outwardly cheerful, walked with his shoulders drooping from emotional pain.

Cy: Y chweched mis yn amlwg ers y torri calon, ac er na ddywedodd air, roedd Eira yn ei deall yn dda.
En: The sixth month was clearly marked since the heartbreak, and though he uttered not a word, Eira understood him well.

Cy: Gethin oedd yn drwm ar ôl camera, bob amser yn chwilio'r golygfa berffaith.
En: Gethin was heavy with a camera, always searching for the perfect scene.

Cy: Roedd angen y ddrama ar ei lens, rhywbeth i ddal ei sylw, rhywbeth i’w ysbrydoli unwaith eto.
En: Drama was needed for his lens, something to capture his attention, something to inspire him once more.

Cy: Wrth iddyn nhw ddringo, roedd y niwl yn cyrlio tuag atynt fel critian.
En: As they climbed, the mist curled towards them like critters.

Cy: Collwyd y ffordd am ychydig, anwybodaeth cynnil wedi’i phlygu yng nghanol meddyliau Eira.
En: The path was lost for a moment, a subtle ignorance folded within Eira's thoughts.

Cy: "Sori," chwarddodd hi yn lleddf, "mae'n bryd i ni fynd yn uwch.
En: "Sorry," she laughed softly, "it's time for us to go higher.

Cy: Fe welwn ni'r ffordd o'r fan honno.
En: We'll see the path from there."

Cy: "Dyma’r penderfyniad, dyma’r gogwydd.
En: Here was the decision, here was the pivot.

Cy: Trodd Eira i arwain, eu hyder yn tyfu oedd yn sefyll fel cerrig grwperyddion wrth iddi ddringo.
En: Eira turned to lead, her confidence growing, standing like upright stones as she climbed.

Cy: Roedd Rhydian a Gethin yn ei ddilyn, gynhesrwydd rhwng y tri yn ail-danio wrth iddynt gyrraedd y copa.
En: Rhydian and Gethin followed her, the warmth among the three rekindling as they reached the summit.

Cy: Ar y brig, roedd y sŷn o danau gwyllt yn byrstio dros y cwm.
En: At the top, the sound of fireworks burst over the valley.

Cy: O dan eu traed, y cwmni o liwiau a goleunau, a’u hanner ochenaid yn aros am yr éxplosif, rhyddid o hyd yn ei gwmpo nhw.
En: Beneath their feet, the company of colors and lights, and their half-sigh lingering for the explosive, freedom still enveloping them.

Cy: Roedd y tân gwyllt yn eich atgoffa, rhywbeth yn las a melfed ar noson fel hon.
En: The fireworks reminded you of something blue and velvet on a night like this.

Cy: "Mae'r bywyd yn...

En: Aled, a serious but observant photographer, walked slowly with his camera.

Cy: Roedd yn chwilio am y llun perffaith.

En: She was leading a small group step by step through the winding paths, showing the hidden spots and local history to the walkers.

Cy: Gydag yr un faint o stori dros bob brigiad creigiog, roedd hi’n wrth ei bodd yn rhannu ei phrofiad.
En: With as much story over every rocky ridge, she was delighted to share her experience.

Cy: Cawsant eu cyflwyno'n annisgwyl pan oedd un o’r gweithgareddau fel rhan o’r diwrnod wrth 'rhaeadr gudd'.

Cy: Roedd Aled yn sefyll ar y cornel, yn ceisio dal y rhaeadr yn ei ogoniant.
En: Aled stood at the corner, trying to capture the waterfall in its glory.

Cy: Anwadwyodd y gwynt yn boeth rhwng dwy wyneb.
En: The wind blew hot between two faces.

Cy: Roedd Carys yn tynnu ei sylw, yn gwnaeth sylw caredig am y ffordd gorau i weld y golygfeydd.
En: Carys caught his attention, making a kind remark about the best way to see the sights.

Cy: Roedd y glaw’n llorio’n ddi-baid, a dyma eu harwain i groesawu’r bonheddigyddol .
En: The rain poured unceasingly, leading them to embrace the gentlemanly shelter.

Cy: Arhosodd y ddau yno a rhannu sgyrsiau am berig ac atyniad yr ardal.

Cy: Y tu mewn, mae oriel ysgol wedi ei goleuo'n llai disglair, yn arogli o geirios hen a phaent ffres.
En: Inside, the school's gallery is more dimly lit, smelling of old cherries and fresh paint.

Cy: Un diwrnod, wrth fentro i mewn i'r oriel, dywedodd Aeron wrth Carys, "Edrych ar y llun hwn!
En: One day, while venturing into the gallery, Aeron said to Carys, "Look at this picture!

Cy: Does neb yn gwybod pwy sy'n gyfrifol am hwn!

En: The painting was beautiful and mysterious, with an enchanting landscape filled with the rich colors of autumn.

Cy: "Mae'n ddirgelwch," atebodd Carys yn amheus.
En: "It's a mystery," replied Carys skeptically.

Cy: "Ond gallai fod yn jôc gan rywun.
En: "But it could be a joke by someone.

En: They had heard that this particular edition of the gallery had been under lock and key, and one evening, when everyone went outside to the field for the fireworks, Aeron decided to investigate.

Cy: "Edrych," meddai Aeron gan bwyntio i ryw arwydd coll y tu mewn i'r paentiad.
En: "Look," said Aeron, pointing to some lost sign within the painting.

En: As the day grew dark before the Samhain festival, the office of the corporation looked remarkable this autumn.

En: At the center of this was Gwyn, a diligent office worker, busy throughout the day.

En: Eira, a meticulous and intelligent colleague, was ready with her detailed questions.

Cy: Roedd hi'n person a werthfawrogai trefn, a doedd dim byd yn dianc ei sylw pendroni.
En: She was a person who appreciated order, and nothing escaped her scrutinizing attention.

Cy: Ac yna, roedd Llew - cyd-weithiwr syfrdanol, yn ddychrynllyd gyfeillgar ond oddi tynnu yr un pryd.
En: And then there was Llew - an astonishing colleague, frightfully friendly yet withdrawn at the same time.

Cy: Wrth i'r nosol lewygu, roedd Gwyn yn ystyried hemio Llew am gymorth ond roedd Llew yn osgoi, fel petai'n mynd i'r ochr, gwneud Gwyn yn amheus hyd yn oed yn fwy.
En: As night fell, Gwyn considered asking Llew for help, but Llew avoided him, sidestepping such that it made Gwyn even more suspicious.

Cy: Felly penderfynodd Gwyn fod rhaid iddo wneud rhywbeth medrus.
En: So Gwyn decided that he had to do something skillful.

Cy: Yn ddiweddarach, pan oedd y swyddfa yn wag ac mor ganol nos, fe dalodd Gwyn yn hwyr i roi cynnig ar ymchwilio yn ddawnus.
En: Later, when the office was empty and at the stroke of midnight, Gwyn stayed late to keenly investigate.

Cy: Ei olygon caeth ar Llew, amheus o'i bellhau dirgelaidd.
En: His eyes fixated on Llew, suspicious of his mysterious distancing.

Cy: Wrth iddynt sefyll yn archifd y swyddfa, y golau'n fflachio, cymhlethodd y tensiwn.
En: As they stood in the office archive, the light flickering, the tension complicated.

Cy: Dywedodd Gwyn, â sŵn cyhuddiol oedd ond bron yn gwichio ei dafod, "Mae'n rhaid bod ti wedi gwneud hyn er mwyn cael hwyl, Llew.
En: Gwyn said, with an accusatory tone that almost made his tongue squeak, "You must have done this for fun, Llew."

Cy: "Gyda chyrlow lliwgar, sylweddolodd Llew - efe roedd wedi bwriadu dim ond prank bach.
