Cy: Erbyn hanner dydd, Cae Conwy oedd yn llawn bywyd.
En: By midday, Cae Conwy was full of life.

Cy: Roedd sgwâr y pentref yn frith o bobl, llenwi gyda phob math o stondinau a pherlysiau yr hydref.
En: The village square was teeming with people, filled with all sorts of stalls and autumn herbs.

Cy: Roedd Rhys yno’n gynnar, barod i helpu gydag agweddau olaf y ffair cynhaeaf.
En: Rhys was there early, ready to help with the final aspects of the harvest fair.

Cy: Roedd yn awyddus i wneud argraff, yn arbennig yn llygaid Eira, merch gyda’i goluriau golau yn gwenu fel haul yr hydref.
En: He was eager to make an impression, especially in the eyes of Eira, a girl whose bright makeup smiled like the autumn sun.

Cy: Roedd hefyd awydd i brofi ei hun fel rhywun y gallai'r ffermwyr eraill ddibynnu arno.
En: He also had a desire to prove himself as someone the other farmers could rely on.

En: But while trying to lift a heavy post, his ankle twisted suddenly.

En: He gritted his teeth, taking a deep breath as the pain shot up his leg.

Cy: "Ddim amser i fod yn wan," meddai Rhys iddo'i hun, ymbil am arhosiad o’r tensiwn.
En: "No time to be weak," Rhys told himself, begging for a break from the tension.

Cy: Yn anffodus, y poen nid oedd yn cilio, ac roedd ei ymdrech i aros yn gadarn yn ddigon i dynnu sylw Eira.
En: Unfortunately, the pain didn't subside, and his effort to stay firm was enough to draw Eira's attention.

Cy: "Rhys, rwyt ti'n edrych fel pe bai'n ti mewn poen.
En: "Rhys, you look like you're in pain.

Cy: Wyt ti'n iawn?
En: Are you okay?"

Cy: " cyfarchodd Eira ag ofal yn ei llais.
En: greeted Eira with concern in her voice.

Cy: Wnaeth Rhys geisio gwenu, ond roedd ei lygaid yn bradychu’r boen.
En: Rhys tried to smile, but his eyes betrayed the pain.

Cy: "Dim byd mawr, dim ond spryngu’r ffêr, Eira.
En: "It's nothing major, just sprained the ankle, Eira."

Cy: ""O, Rhys," wnaeth Eira dweud gyda phryder.
En: "Oh, Rhys," Eira said with worry.

Cy: "Dydy hynny ddim yn swnio fel 'dim byd mawr'.
En: "That doesn't sound like 'nothing major.'

Cy: Gad i fi helpu, os gwelwch yn dda.
En: Let me help, please."

Cy: "Yn gryf, rhuthrodd balchder Rhys.
En: Pride rushed through Rhys strongly.

Cy: "Na, wir yn ddrwg gen i, gallaf reoli ef.
En: "No, really sorry, I can handle it.

Cy: Diolch i ti, Eira.
En: Thank you, Eira."

Cy: "Ond wrth i’r diwrnod fynd yn ei flaen, roedd yn amlhau fod y bochdan â'i ffêr yn gwneud y dasg yn anoddach fyth.
En: But as the day went on, it became apparent that the strain on his ankle was making the task even more difficult.

Cy: Yn y pen draw, rhoddodd i mewn i gymeradwyo Eira.
En: Eventually, he conceded to accept Eira's offer.

En: He handed over control to her, and then thanked her for answering his call for help.
