How often do you feel self doubt? I got asked this question the other day... and the truth is I feel it regularly!! The thing is though I used to be so guided by my feelings... I let my feelings drive my decision making, until I learnt a better strategy! I (painfully) learnt that my emotions and my feelings were always the best thing to follow when it came to making decisions...

The two tips I share in this podcast have come about as a result of my own life lessons, and reinforced over many years by the many coaches I have met and learnt from.
You know, I was addicted to alcohol for many years in my teens and 20's. And I used to tell myself stories about why I kept it up, even though I really wanted to quit.

There have been so many times in my life where I didn't know how to do something, and so I just avoided it. For example, when I was in my 20's, I really wanted to scuba dive. But I avoided it because I was afraid I would fail.
Have you ever done this? Im sure most of us have.
Over years of development and listening to the great minds in Personal Development, I came to understand something - When we start doing that thing we are avoiding - We get better at it, and we develop more confidence to do it again.

The current situation across the world has people 'socially isolating' to avoid spreading the coronavirus.

In 2019, my husband and I decided we wanted to follow our passion. This meant my husband leaving his job, becoming a stay at home dad, and for him and I to launch our online business Charge Connect Grow. It also involved me working from home as I recovered from having our second child.

With the changes to many work situations at present related to coronavirus, there is a lot more working from home arrangements than there used to be.
In this podcast, I share the four behaviours that you can look out for, and the simple and effective ways to really communicate and lead your team while staff are being 'isolated', or if you're managing your team remotely.
This week, one of my clients got the call up overnight to say, 'your team need to work from home'. She is now managing a team of 12 people remotely, when before they were in an office. For her that's very different. That's a lot of change, and understanding how to effectively lead in this situation can be challenging.
Working in an office environment is very different to working from home. And there's already a lot of change and fear and uncertainty happening as a result of the coronavirus. To now throw in the mix that people need to work from home, is also going to add to the fear, the stress, the overwhelm, the uncertainty that comes up for human beings.
