What The F&$# is Cancel Culture ft. raginyy | The Brew Your Market Podcast

“Cancel culture,” as a concept, feels inescapable. The phrase has been connected to anything from free speech debates to Bollywood blockbusters; it is often used in news articles and informal social media conversations. It occasionally appears to be all-encompassing, as if all current dialogue must now exhaustingly and continuously lead to either an effort to "cancel" anyone whose beliefs cause controversy or to allegations of cancel culture in action, however unjustified. In this era of content creation a new phenomenon has emerged: the weaponization of cancel culture & the effect of cancel culture can be deep. In today's #BrewYourMarket Podcast, catch up Rakshit & Raginy talk about this culture & analyze its effect in detail. Let us know your opinions in the comment section.

Will Google and Meta Lose The Advertising War? | #HopefullyMarketing

There have been two fundamental truths about internet advertising for the past ten years. First, the industry was remarkably immune to the business cycle despite its fast expansion. The second factor was the duopoly of Google (in search ads) and Meta (in social media), which one envious competitor has compared to John Rockefeller's monopoly on oil in the late 19th century.

But now, Amazon and Apple are gaining traction across the platforms.

For the second time in the company's history, Google's total ad income decreased, and it wasn't simply because of the well-known problems with YouTube. Its search ad revenue fell as well; generally impervious to spending cuts brought on by the economic downturn

The same is true of Meta. In terms of ad revenue, it reported its first yearly revenue deficit.

As opposed to Google and Meta, Amazon and Apple continue to aggressively rake in advertising dollars, albeit into far smaller pools.

Is the a good time for these giants to come to an end? if yes, why and how?

In this week of #hopefullymarketing Podcast, we take a deep dive into the various theory of this Duopoly.

Listen to our views, and tell us yours!
