Mental health mini (mhm) episode 1! The mhm (cute little acronym huh? say "mhm") is going to be a question-based mini pod where we talk about all things mental health and share some questions that might get you out of your head and back to working on becoming the boldest version of you! I don't have all the answers and you don't have to either. Making small steps towards clearing your mind and moving in the direction of your goals is OUR GOAL. Together we can show that you're not alone in your struggles and that we are all going through it right now.
Spring cleaning doesn't just apply to your space, or to your diet. Use this transition season to clean up your mindset and your attitude toward the way you're living. Don't get me wrong, a little closet clean-out can ALSO go a long way but there may be some cleaning up to do in the other areas of your life, as well.
Feeling like you're stuck? Sick of the same day on repeat? Feel like you just need a breath of fresh air blown into your space? This episode is for you!
Until next episode follow along on instagram @boldtypepodcast!
.. with a dash of mercury in retrograde. WHAT in the world is going on? It's like I've been living in a parallel universe where everyone wears the same outfit, stopped shopping local, and started staying in and perfecting their skin care routine. 2023 I THOUGHT THINGS WERE GOING TO BE DIFFERENT!?
In all seriousness, so much is pivoting in 2023 and I can't even give you any teasers because right now I'm just clueless. This impromptu episode is to fill ya in on the current state of your fav local business and hopefully to shed some light on why you might be feeling extreme burn out this time of year. Can we even believe how much has changed since the big C. One thing is still the same, we're all in this together!
Hang in there if you've been going THROUGH it recently, mercury is out of retrograde starting tomorrow (1/18) and things will get better. Check out how your zodiac sign may have been affected by the the last one though, mine was spot on! Look it up here.
Also, let's catch up on all the podcast playlists that never made it to you guys!
PODCAST PLAYLIST 4 * most recent
When ya know ya know.. But sometimes, it feels like you're signing your life away. This episode we catch up for a bit- it's been a while! Plus throwing the holidays into the mix, it feels like there's so much to chat about!
In this pod, I share my experience with getting my puppy, Bronco! But even more than that, the decision to add responsibility to my life and why it's a harder decision than most. You'll learn tips for recognizing when something is truly on your heart and thoughts that might hold you back from making the jump- hint: it's fear.. every time. We chat why it's more important to just rip the bandaid off and do the big thing that scares you when it feels like there's no clear choice.
I'll leave you with this thought.. Whether you fail or you succeed, wouldn't you want to know soon?
Here's take TWO of the podcast playlist. I built this while debating this huge decision in my life and it might be comforting and nostalgic if you need a little comfort/inspo for taking the leap. Because WHY NOT!? :)
"with great power comes great responsibility" - superman
we all need a little pep talk from time to time and this is the one that I wish someone would've given me the last few weeks. whatever you are going through, please try your best not to spiral on it. BELIEVE deep in your soul that everything that's meant to be will be. If you're stuck holding onto something that feels like it's slipping away, remember, nothing that's meant for you will pass you by.
I know this time of year is super challenging for so many of us, but keep pushing through and keep your head up. You're going to get through whatever season you're in.
As always, thank you for being here. It's like you're sitting in on a live therapy session with me, myself and I. I'd love to connect with you and help if I can with anything you guys are pushing through right now. Shoot me a DM on @boldtypepodcast on instagram, or by email at boldtypepodcast@gmail.com.
PODCAST PLAYLIST TAKE ONE! Enjoy!
Until next week.. or the following.. (:

This episode was a quick ramble about what I've been doing to combat the feeling of overwhelm lately. I know, it's not even Christmas yet and I'm already feeling the STRESS!
Diving into the not-so-pretty side of having an achiever mentality paired with an inherent lazy girl attitude. I talk about the to-do list vs. the to-done list and how the latter can be more beneficial in times of overwhelm.
Above all else, reach out for support when you're feeling stressed out. Call a friend, go get coffee or go for a walk with a friend, spend time with your family or a pet. Back to basics, people!
As always, hope this episode was helpful and made you feel more comforted in whatever season of life you may be experience right now. I would SO appreciate a rating and review or a tag on instagram @boldtypepodcast to let me know this is resonating <3
Sharing an update on my personal PCOS journey to hopefully help anyone who has been or could potentially be diagnosed with this hormone and metabolic condition.
What works:
What doesn't work:
Whether you're suffering from PCOS or any other hormone-related condition, I hope that sharing my story can help you to know you're not alone and that it's ok to feel like you don't have it all figured out.
xoxo Renee
What I've learned after the HEAT I've gotten over the last few episodes since I relaunched the pod:
- Don't sugarcoat your truths. SPEAK UP, and don't feel bad about your perspective of a shared experience.
- Don't wait for approval from anyone else. The "right time" may never come and that'll leave you regretting what could've been.
This week's episode dives into the difference between finding your purpose and aligning with your purpose. Renee shares her favorite techniques for practicing visualization and how to identify if you're out of alignment with your true purpose.
For more on aligning with your purpose, listen to one of her favorite podcasters, Jay Shetty's episode on just that!
Your feedback, ratings and reviews on BTP make my heart sing! If you gained anything from this podcast, or just enjoyed spending some time with me and you would be so kind as to leave a 5 star review, it would be so appreciated!
Talk to you next week, xoxo Renee
Have you ever done a background check on a guy you're about to go out with? Or does a quick Google search suffice? Hmm..
A little inside scoop on my current dating sitch and what I've learned throughout my dating experience so far! I'm sharing my thoughts on first and second date behavior and when it's more than ok to go ghost.
Triggered by a conversation with a close friend, we dive into the two F's your relationship should be achieving and what to do when it's just not quite hitting the mark.
If this episode was helpful or entertaining, please share and leave a review. See you next week for another episode of BTP! xoxo Renee

It has been on my heart to jump back into BTP for quite some time now! This is a quickie episode to recap what's been going on the last year and to reintroduce the relaunch of BTP! Lot's of Re's...
I've missed connecting with you SO much and I finally dusted off the old microphones (which I still can't remember how to work, so I apologize for the AirPod-quality audio), and just decided to hold myself accountable, and take the baby steps to getting restarted. I honestly just figured this would save me some money on therapy, HA! I still laugh at my own jokes if anyone was curious.
Genuinely, I hope you are all well and I just want to thank you for the patience, the support and the love. I'm not sure how often I'll be jumping on here (baby steps), but I promise that we'll talk again soon! xoxo Renee.
After a month-long hiatus, we're finally back to recording and we're sitting down with Holly McIntosh of J&D Cellars Winery to talk about Veronica's favorite beverage.. WINE!
We've known Holly for a few years now, and her captivating personality and has intrigued us from day 1. Her knowledge about wine and the importance of marketing while operating a business, is only PART of her story. In this episode, Holly shares the backstory of J&D Cellars Winery, which is a family business with her step father John, mother Dottie, and brother Brandon. We talk to Holly about her pivots through the pandemic and the new product offering that took their business to the next level- leading the business to expand in more ways than one!
As a teaser, you'll hear us mention our zodiac signs once or twice and the reason being, Holly also does oracle card readings and has an insanely deep understanding of astrology and really just all things spirituality, in general. We're bringing Holly back on for a second episode for an on-air card reading for both Renee and Veronica. It's SPOOKY accurate, people!

We've given you guys our tips on staying disciplined and having structure in your day-to-day to help manage the stresses of life and business. There are a ton of benefits to having a routine and we couldn't live without, specifically for us *morning* routines, but there are benefits to also leaning into flexibility.
Being flexible is a necessary part of life as we all know, but it is even more critical when it comes to running any sort of business. There's a thin line between being stuck in your routine and being so loosey-goosey that you feel like a total scatterbrain. We're here to help you navigate that line and to show you the benefits of both. Whether you're coming from a super rigid background or you spend your days just going with the flow, we hope you find part 2.. (and part 1, which you can find back in episode 17) helpful!
As always, we would LOVE and appreciate a rating and review on apple podcasts, a follow on our instagram account @boldtypepodcast and we welcome and questions, feedback or inspo for future episodes at boldtypepodcast@gmail.com.
Part ONE: We find that there's a thin line between staying disciplined and being flexible, but to succeed in life and business, we believe you need a delicate balance of both!

We dive into the benefits of staying disciplined and how the ripple effect can drastically change the way you show up in your life. Plus, we share some tips on feeling on top of your to-do lists!
Join us next week for part TWO, where we talk about the benefits of learning to be flexible and accept change in life and business.

Why we're encouraging anyone who's ever thought about starting their own business to START NOW: Veronica and Renee both started their businesses in their early twenties and believe that you can either 'build your business around your life' or 'build your life around your business'.
When you start young and start before the responsibilities of life really set it, you have less at stake. You don't have to worry about risking it all to leave your 9-5 and possibly not be able to put food on the table for your family while you get this idea off the ground. We totally understand that mental battle can stop you from pursuing your dreams and that's why we hope this episode inspires you to just start now. The longer you wait to start your business, the more you'll be risking and the harder it will be to jump in without hesitation.
We hope you loved this quicky episode that was packed full of tips and stories from our experiences of starting our businesses young. If you are planning to start a business and want to hear more of our stories, stick around and keep listening to BTP and follow us on instagram for the inside scoop on new episodes! Shoot us an email at boldtypepodcast@gmail.com to be featured on our show!
This is the episode where we share some advice we wish someone had given us before starting our businesses! We can both agree the most important being:
We hope you love this episode and we encourage you to JUST START. If you've been wanting to start your own business or just explore a new industry or just try something new in general- you have to start somewhere. Don't wait until the perfect moment because it's not ever going to feel perfect. If it does, that's when you know you waited too long..
As always, we hope you enjoyed this episode of BTP and we would love to hear from you on IG @boldtypepodcast or boldtypepodcast@gmail.com.
