Feeling overwhelmed and/or overstimulated is far from an enjoyable experience. That being said, with the natural (and unnatural) stressors, pressures and anxieties of everyday life, it's bound to happen. While we may not be able to remove overwhelm entirely from our experience, we can manage our response to it.
In the episode, I talk about what might be overwhelming you and emphasize the importance of having a strategy or practice to ground yourself, relax, and re-center in moments where emotions are running high. If you're ready for 4 ways to more effectively manage overwhelm and restore your zen, tune in to episode 24 now! 🎙

This week I help you to understand that you are not your thoughts. A common misconception that people hold is that the inner monologue of thoughts in their head is them– but this is untrue. Who you are is the awareness of the thoughts, a concept that is incredibly liberating to fully realize and one that I do my best to help you to understand.
In the episode, I explain why people identify with their thoughts and how it can be harmful, explain the art of detachment (a strategy to help you put space between yourself and your thoughts), and recommend a book to master mindfulness and living in the present moment. If you're ready to overcome negative thinking and dis-identify with your noisy inner voice, tune in to episode 23 now! 🎙
