Is Endometriosis actually an autoimmune condition? For decades we’ve been told it’s all about hormones—but new research shows your immune system may be the missing link. And that changes everything.

If you live with Endometriosis and find yourself struggling with anxiety, you are not alone. But here’s the thing — it’s not just in your head. Endo creates inflammation, damages the gut, and increases your body’s demand for key nutrients that literally build the brain chemicals keeping you calm. Without them, anxiety skyrockets.

If you’re living with Endometriosis and want to start or grow your family, you may be worried about your fertility. You might have heard that Endometriosis can make it harder to conceive—but what often goes unmentioned is the impact it can have on egg quality.
Egg quality isn’t about how many eggs you have—it’sabout how healthy those eggs are and how capable they are of being fertilised, developing into a healthy embryo, and leading to a successful pregnancy. In this episode I explain how Endometriosis influences egg quality and, importantly, what you can do to improve it.
To discuss how we can improve the quality of your eggs, book a complementary Endometriosis Discovery Call now: Endometriosis Discovery Call - The Endometriosis Nutritionist

If you’ve been told that Endometriosis is “all about hormones,” it’s time to rethink that narrative. Yes, hormones play a role, but they’re not the true root cause of the condition.
The real driver? Chronic inflammation.
And until you address it, you may find your symptoms keep coming back—no matter how many surgeries or hormone treatments you’ve tried.
In this episode I explore the role of inflammation in your endometriosis and share tips on how to use your diet to start to reduce this inflammation.

Resistant starch, a type of fibre that resists digestion in the small intestine, is a valuable food source for gut bacteria in the large intestine. These bacteria ferment resistant starch, producing beneficial short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), particularly butyrate, which supports gut health and protects against diseases.
In this episode I explain why resistant starch is important to have in your diet, the foods that contain it and how you can use one simple food to feed your beneficial bacteria.

I don’t really focus on weight loss in my programs, as I’vefound that if you create the diet that is right for your Endometriosis, you will also start to lose weight if you need to. But I questioned my assumption about weight and Endo when I sat in my daughter’s appointment with a gynaecologist who suggested she put on weight to manage her oestrogen better.
So I decided to do the research and this is what I discovered.
