Episode 127: Resistant Starch for Better Digestion, Immunity & Energy - The Gut-Friendly Secret Hiding in Your Pantry

Resistant starch, a type of fibre that resists digestion in the small intestine, is a valuable food source for gut bacteria in the large intestine. These bacteria ferment resistant starch, producing beneficial short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), particularly butyrate, which supports gut health and protects against diseases.

In this episode I explain why resistant starch is important to have in your diet, the foods that contain it and how you can use one simple food to feed your beneficial bacteria.

Episode 122 - Can losing weight ease endo symptoms? What I discovered from the research

I don’t really focus on weight loss in my programs, as I’vefound that if you create the diet that is right for your Endometriosis, you will also start to lose weight if you need to.  But I questioned my assumption about weight and Endo when I sat in my daughter’s appointment with a gynaecologist who suggested she put on weight to manage her oestrogen better.

So I decided to do the research and this is what I discovered.

It’s very personalised!

Just a heads-up: when you get to my booking calendar, the available timeslots will show in YOUR time zone so you don’t need to do complicated calculations 😉

2.     After you’ve attended, I will send you an email with a link to the most appropriate program(s) for you (which we will have a chat about in your call) and your discount code for 40% off. There are NO obligations for you to sign up for anything!

3.     If you decide you want to work with me and sign up for a program AND get the 40% discount, you need to sign up before 1 March (or 28 Feb, depending on your time zone).

Episode 115 - If you are trying to fall pregnant and taking a prenatal multivitamin you need to listen to this episode

Vitamin B9 (or folate, folic acid or folinic acid) is a key vitamin for pregnancy. It is recommended to reduce the risk of neural tube defects in your baby. It is also a key vitamin for the body to make new cells: blood cells and in particular healthy red blood cells, brain cells, skin, hair and nails.

In this episode I explain what the different types of vitamin B9 are, what needs to happen in your body for it to be able to use it and why I recommend you stop taking supplements with one form of B9.
