In this episode, we have lots to cover regarding the launch of Battlefield 6, and its immediate success with over 7 million copies sold within the first couple days. Black Ops 7 is nearing its release, and the debate still swirling over which FPS will come out on top, we give our thoughts on what is going to be the deciding factor for BO7 to be a success this year and beyond. We also cover the thoughts on games being worth the $70 price tag. COD has gotten this criticism, as well as many other AAA games that come out. Are developers really putting in the effort in these games to make it worth that price, while some games are simply a copy of last years with little innovation? We share our opinions on what we have been reading, and talk about which developers always put in the time and effort for new games.

In this episode, we start off discussing some big changes that are coming to Black Ops 7 that will have a big impact on the casual experience of the game. With the beta in the rear view and eyes on the full release, Treyarch announced the return of open matchmaking to the full game, as the main way to matchmake in public games. This was one of the biggest changes they made during the beta, and now having confirmation that it is going to be the standard in the full game, we couldn’t be more excited. This comes at a perfect time too, now that Battlefield 6 has launched with high praise. Activision and Treyarch have a tough year ahead of them regardless, and we share our thoughts on this, as well as some other quality of life changes coming at launch. Finally, we close with some CDL news, as now the bottom teams have nearly solidified their rosters. We share our thoughts on these moves, and who we think are the sleeper teams for the upcoming season.

In this episode, we break down what was a very successful beta week with Black Ops 7. With the early access and open beta now concluded, we give our thoughts on the main aspects of the game that will make or break this year. From the map design, new game mode, zombies, and more, we give our opinions on each part of the game and what we think of the beta overall. With Battlefield now launching, Black Ops 7 is being directly compared to their competitor, and we wonder if it will really hurt how people view this game versus how it actually is. In this beta, the main takeaway was the changes made during the beta, as well as the implementation of the open moshpit, which has completely changed people’s opinion on pubs, as we may have finally returned to what has made COD great for over a decade.

In this episode, we have finally gotten the long awaited multiplayer reveal trailer for Black Ops 7! With the early access beta around the corner, and the game coming quickly, we break down what we know so far from the reveal trailer, and give our first impressions. We cover the movement, weapons, maps, perks, and killstreaks that were shown, and if we think these will lead to a successful year. We also got a zombies reveal trailer to break down, and things are looking good for the zombies community this year! In this episode, we cover some new Black Ops 7 news, as we finally got a sneak peek at some of the multiplayer maps. We got some small gameplay footage, but it is more than enough to get us excited for this incoming beta. We talk about the maps we have seen so far, and overall the path forward with balancing new maps with remasters, and how many maps this game needs to keep it fresh and not die out like the CODs before it. Along with this, there have been some other confirmations related to the movement, as well as redesigning the Vault Edition for the game. After this, we get into the main topic for today: Call of Duty is officially becoming a movie. The news broke a few weeks ago that Paramount would be in charge of creating a Call of Duty movie. There isn’t much information beyond this, and we give our thoughts on why they are deciding to do this, and what we think about the idea as a whole. In this episode, we have EWC on the horizon to officially close out the competitive season for Black Ops 6. There had been lots of speculation as to which teams were gonna show up for the final tournament of the year, and which teams are in desperate need of a team change. Before this though, we cover the EWC as an event, and what we feel this event should include as time goes on. For a world cup tournament to live up to the name in our opinion, we share our thoughts on getting more players from a variety of countries involved in the league. This however has a few hurdles that need to be addressed first, and we give our opinion on how we think the league and EWC could have even more players from around the world competing at the biggest event. Finally, we give our EWC predictions in pool play, and who we think will be the winner overall.
