Welcome to episode #226 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!

It’s officially that time of year again! We have the next COD teaser trailer that just released for Black Ops 7, which is now already available for preorder, and has everyone talking. This year has left people with more questions than normal, and also a lot more basic demands from this year’s installment. We share our thoughts on the trailer, and what COD really needs to focus on this year in order for this to be a turning point in the franchise, and the FPS genre altogether. We also cover the rise of Splitgate 2, and how other FPS titles are entering the sphere and could potentially take some fans away from Black Ops 7, all depending on if they listen to the fans.

Will Black Ops 7 live up the hype, or are in for another year of “what if’s”? What do you believe is the biggest part of the game that Treyarch and Activision need to succeed on in order to keep fans satisfied?
