More specifically, watching professional Call of Duty. The scene is slowly growing with the Call of Duty League being introduced. We are casual players that love the scene and want the CDL to thrive in the future. 2025 ESPORTS WORLD CUP UPDATES | The COD Casuals Ep. 230

Welcome to episode #230 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!

In this episode, we start off with reminiscing over the older COD titles, and lead into a discussion over the older titles being more difficult, and what made them harder. We share when and why this changed, and how this has led to a shift in the type of playstyles that we have seen both casually and especially on the professional side. We then go into some big CDL team drama news, as we are nearing EWC. Lots of teams at the bottom have made changes, and there are rumors that the Carolina Royal Ravens may not even attend the event. We share our thoughts on these moves, and what we think of the Royal Ravens situation. Finally, we end with a talk about CDL player cards, and the whole concept of these as collectibles.
