Welcome to episode #239 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!
In this episode, we start off with a talk regarding streamers; particularly the massive IRL streamers such as iShowSpeed and Kai Cenat. Though we don’t talk about these creators much, we have a talk about how important they have been to the gaming and creator space, and our thoughts as to what their futures look like beyond streaming. After this, we get into the main topic for today: Call of Duty is officially becoming a movie. The news broke a few weeks ago that Paramount would be in charge of creating a Call of Duty movie. There isn’t much information beyond this, and we give our thoughts on why they are deciding to do this, and what we think about the idea as a whole. Lots of questions are circling around this announcement, and fans are eager to learn more.
What do you think about the importance of big streamers, especially the streamers we mentioned? Do you think they will transcend streaming into acting or other professions? What do you think of the Call of Duty movie? Do you think it will be a success, or a complete flop? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week.
