Teaching girls money - Women's financial empowerment
At age 25, Laurel was violently hijacked by 8 men with guns. Because she was not physically hurt, she thought she was fine. She wasn’t. She had been violated in every way possible and unbeknown to her started to develop post traumatic stress. On the outside she continued to live the life of a young woman at the beginning of her career, but on the inside she was a mess. When her son was born after 4 lost babies, she was healing and coming out of the darkness. She realized that she had stopped learning and there were many things she wanted to teach her child. Her husband is in finance and she asked him to do the financial education. Laurel wasn’t happy with how he was doing it and decided to embark on one of the most powerful healing journeys she could imagine - a financial empowerment journey. She realized how many other mothers were in a similar position. As she started to uncover limiting money beliefs, she realized that these same beliefs sit under so many other toxic situations, like food, weight, body image. She started to heal on all sorts of level. She also started to realize how many possibilities and opportunities she let slip by her because of these limiting beliefs. She got qualified as a financial educator and financial empowerment coach for women and knows that what she is doing now is what she is meant to be doing in this world, and that is empowering mothers and daughters through financial education and empowerment.

Setting Boundaries in toxic vs healthy relationships
Setting boundaries is a life skill that you want to nail down. Toxic relationships often require strong and uncompromising boundaries. When we set boundaries in toxic relationships as if they were healthy relationships, we expose ourselves to further hurtful behavior. When we set boundaries in healthy relationships as if they were toxic, we can cause damage and erode trust. It is important to discern when to be firm and unapologetic and when to be more compromising. Anja Werner: A true warrior story of a woman who transformed her life after a childhood of living in constant fear
Anja experienced her first trauma in the womb, along with her twin sister. Their father committed suicide while their mom was in her last few weeks of pregnancy.Anja spent two years in an orphanage at age 3-5, after which she grew up in a home in which there was no safety or stability and where fear was used to control her behavior and keep her quiet by my father-figure. She was emotionally manipulated, physically abused, not given free reign or choice and forced to abide by unrealistic rules setting her up for failure. For the first 9 years of her life, all she knew was fear. Her coping mechanisms were to hide her feelings and hide behind an image of perfection. She grew up feeling very unworthy, setting ridiculously high standards for herself, believing she had to be perfect to be loveable, and that making a mistake was a means for self-punishment. Nothing she did could shift the belief that she was not good enough. As a young adult, she distracted herself with staying ‘busy’, becoming a workaholic and perpetual overachiever. But the achievements never made Anja feel the joy she was seeking. There was an underlying sadness present around the clock. She had trouble feeling truly happy, no matter how hard she tried, because at her core she had abandoned herself long before, and repressed all the pain and fear of her past. She was simply a shell, trying to make herself feel happy by doing more and feeling less.Anja's escapism came to an end when she became a mother. Suddenly, she had so much time to spend with my thoughts, that my anxiety became increasingly prevalent, and began to compound. Everything started feeling ‘off’, and unbearably hard. The universe was sending her sign after sign to stop abandoning herself, and she finally decided to listen. She was able to acknowledge her suffering for the first time. When she made the choice to face it, her healing journey began. During this process, she learnt so many unbelievable ways to empower herself, and to rewire the old patterns that used to consume her, that something within her awakened. She saw a vision greater than herself —to elevate the consciousness of the planet, one woman at a time. Anja was meant to walk the road that she did so that she could use that pain to help other women create a life where they have autonomy over their lives. She wants her own daughters, and all little girls to grow up as women who are fully embodied in their worth and who are not afraid to follow their dreams and live a life true to themselves.

Insights into fertility preservation and Medical tourism with Vanessa Emily

Vanessa Emily is a dedicated advocate for fertility preservation and emotional well-being. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, her journey took and exciting turn when she embarked on a 7-month adventure in Bulgaria, undergoing consecutive rounds of egg freezing.

During this transformative time, Vanessa noticed a glaring gap in support for women interested in and going through egg freezing. Driven by this realization, she made the decision to study several coaching modalities such as NLP, RRT, and EFT to provide guidance and support she wished she had during her own journey. One modality that really resonated with her is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), a powerful healing tool for self-regulation and self-soothing in response for the emotional stressors associated with fertility preservation. It is one of the easiest healing modalities to use to self regulate and thrive.

Vanessa shares her own journey, steps you can take to extend your fertility and why Medical Tourism can be a great option for women.

Shelley Rahim, a Postpartum Chef and Caregiver, has been cooking "Ayurvedic" style cuisine for over 30 years. She learnt how to cook South Asian food from her beloved Pakistani Mother-in-law. When Shelley become pregnant at age 18, her mother-in-law took care of her. Feeding her delicous meals in bed and taking care of everything so she could rest. She had an amazing postpartum experience. She felt compassion for other women who were without support after giving birth and entered the birth world professionally in 2007. Over the course of her 15 year career, Shelley has nourished hundreds of mothers with her postpartum recipes and methodology. She witnessed how quickly their bodies recovered from birth, how plentiful their breastmilk was, and how calm and peaceful their minds were under her care. The truth about labor is not that it may be painful but that women are strong. Over 5 decades, childbirth educator Janis has taught over 11k couples to feel prepared and empowered for their birth

Janis Bush, a certified Lamaze childbirth educator is a real gem teacher. She teaches with all her heart and soul and prepares you for any potential situation that may arise during your pregnancy and birth. She also educates her students about their rights and believes that knowledge is power.

Her mission is to spread the truth that pregnancy, labor birth and breastfeeding are normal, natural physiological processes. Her mission is to empower herself and others working in childbirth and breastfeeding settings to impart truth, knowledge and confidence about childbearing to expectant and new parent couples.

Her childbirth classes will change how pain and other things are perceived in your brain and you will wind up with a pain tolerance level higher than the Home Depot rafters. Janis has used this method to birth her own 3 babies and she uses the techniques of the Lamaze method of pain blocking every day since these are life skills for everyone.

When she was 4 1/2 years old and her mom came home with the new baby, and lied to Janis about where the baby came from and her journey to find out what it means to be a women started.

When Janis was in 2nd grade, she watched her young cat give birth. Janis thought it was so cool how the cat did everything on instinct. It was the most sacred thing she has ever seen.

When she was found out she was pregnant in the 1970s, she read every book about having a baby that she could get her hands on.

Two books changed her life forever: Thank you Dr. Lamaze by Marjorie Karmel and The Joy of Narural Childbirth by Helen Wessel.

She still tells anyone who asks that you need to look no further than those two books to know what to do when the time is right.

After giving birth to her first child in 1976, after having been taught the original, authentic Fernand Lamaze Method of Prepared Childbirth and used it perfectly, she knew 3 things:

1. I have clearly met my Authentic Self.... and she is awesome!

2. If I can do this, I can do anything!

3. I need to change careers to teach this miraculous method to others

She went to UC Irvine for a training program to become a Lamaze instructor and started teaching in 1977. in 2008 she added teaching Infant Instinct Breastfeeding.

Over the decades, Janis has impacted over ten thousand couples and medical professionals by educating patients about their rights, supporting certified and aspiring childbirth professionals to prosper in their chosen birth field. She is in the process of writing 3 books.
